Party Girl

It's one of my favorite movies of all time, 1995's Party Girl starring Parker Posey the all-time it girl of independent film. Parker Posey plays a savvy and sassy party girl, with a wardrobe to die for, and a great collection of fantastic friends, but she needs to get real and get a job in order to keep a roof over her head. If you have never seen it, you are missing out on one of the best fashion mash-up wardrobes I have seen on the silver screen, all set against a gritty New York backdrop. This Dagmar dress from ~~Ivalde~~ Couture, paired with a messy wig and heavily lined eyes, made me feel every bit the "Party Girl", arriving home after a heavy night of partying. Neferia Abel used sculpted roses on the bodice and gloves, and the skirt has a really great transparent sculpted layer that gives it the look of organza. I love the juxtaposition of a glam cocktail dress and gloves with the mussed up-do wig, Pamela, from Exile. It has that night after the party look, as does the PXL Creations skin with the fabulously dark and smudged lined eyes. The eyes look more dramatic with Cake's Separated Lashes over Freak Fantasia Glassy Mustard Green Eyes.



I decided to work the amazing copper brown colour of the dress with a delicious hit of Mint in the form of (CREAMSHOP) Plain Tights. I love wearing coloured tights, and the soft mint makes the great (Shiny Things) Tuli Pumps really stand out. They are a perfect match to the dress, and I couldn't have planned it better. I opted for some big uncut Turquoise baubles from Swallowtail, including the great Uncut Gems Necklace and the Natural Stone Earrings. I really like the raw look of the gems next to the polished glamor of the dress. I picked up another great Paper Couture bag, this time opting for the almost casual carry-all look of The Tasty Bag in Bleu. Also wearing my Caroline's Jewelry Gimcrack Diamond Solitaire Ring.

Blue Jean Junkie

I think it has been well established that I have more Jeans then anyone could ever wear, at last count about 120 pair. I had convinced myself that there would be absolutely no more denim in my future shopping lists, I even bragged to my partner Draco that there was really nothing I needed to buy ever again, having hundreds of items I have yet to even wear once, and ten-fold that number of things I have only worn once. But that was before the brilliantly talented Zaara Kohime introduced her new line of denim this week. They are just too fantastic not to own, and I had to seriously use every bit of restraint to decide on only one pair. These Zaara Jewelled Jeans in Indigo are so classic and well made, with three sculpted cuff options, and those little touched that make Zaara one of my favorite places to shop of late. The lovely gold jewelled chain over one hip make these jeans not only unique but incredibly sexy. I wanted to show off the jewelled accent on the jeans, so choose a top that revealed the details while offering a lot of style and coverage. This 1/3 of a Tee Shirt from *Thimbles* was the perfect pick, not only is it sexy, as the 1/3 Tee reveals a great tank-top beneath it, but it comes in all layer options, including the pieces individually or together on one layer.



Boots were an easy choice here, as I have been looking for another opportunity to wear these INSOLENCE Natasha Boots, here in a Violet colour that matched the aubergine of the T-Shirt well. Prim cuffs on pants make it easy to convert tall boots to go a step further by only using the shoe base parts, for a tucked under pants look. I wanted to continue with the theme of natural stones in antique looking gold settings to match the chain on the jeans, so I started with some Turquoise Natural Stone Earrings from Swallowtail. I was pleased to discover this great Vintage Heart Necklace from [Curio] in my inventory, a previous group gift. It comes in silver and gold, new and old metals, and looked really great with the high neckline of the Tee. When I was sent a review pack from Burroughs Jewellery, I remember looking at the items and thinking how pretty they all were, but not really seeing them working into my personal sense of style, that was before I realized that each and every item from Burroughs is scripted to change not only stone and gem colours, but also the metal colour and size. They are really fantastic pieces, and can work in so many ways, mixed and matched between sets, and personalized to suit your own style to a tee. Here I am wearing the Julia Ring and the Rommy Bracelet, setting the stones and metals to match the rest of the look.



The more I find in my Hair Fair folders, the more I realize just how wonderful it was to be exposed to dozens of hair designers I had never known previously. I spend thousands of LaLas there, and that was pretty painful at the time, but I have yet to find one style I have purchased that I am not instantly in love with. This *ARGRACE* Hunting Style, Chiffon Curl in the Black shade is absolutely lovely. The hair texture is incredible realistic and the alphas work nicely without the normal high-glitch factor. The hat is part of the wig, and really stylish with a scripted colour change option. My only issue is that this *ARGRACE* wig is no-mod, and comes with a re-sizer script, which is nice for making it larger or smaller, but makes it impossible to do small prim adjustments around the ears or forehead, making it necessary to wear a larger size then you might otherwise choose. A small criticism, but one I think is important for hair designers to consider. Skin is another favorite from Celestial Studios with Love Lashes by [Detour], and Hazel Eyes from Philotic Energy.

A Pin-Up Inside and Out

The other day, while browsing the feeds I spotted this amazing wig from [Curio] on the Mundo Blog. The very first premium skin I ever bought was from Gala, and some of my first hair was [Curio], but I had not been back in ages. When I read the name of this wig though, I new I had to have it, Psychobilly Freakout! Not only a Reverend Horton Heat song I regularly play in my Rockabilly sets, but a whole aesthetic I adore. The style is lovely, with twisted rolls framing the face, and a variety of flower attachments (optional). The flexi ponytail in the back is really well done, and it has the lovely [Curio] hair texture and shine that I have always loved.

I have always marveled over the dresses produced by one of Second Life's most under-appreciated artists, Evelyn Edelman of Big Booty, Big Money. Her colour combinations and unique designs are just incredibly well done, and the selection and prices cannot be beat. This BBBM Inside Dress in Orange is simply enchanting. The detail in the texture on the skirt is exquisite, lace and thread and small butterflies, intricate and elegant. I paired it with some great **Battered Boudoir** Boudoir Legs in Fair Chocolate, just to give the look a little more polish, these hose are completely delicious. The hose perfectly set off these incredible new Pinup Pumps from Stiletto Moody. This pair is the Patent Color Set, which changes to any of 9 or so delicious hues, and are endlessly wearable. I really love the shape of this pump, the texture on the sculpt is so well done, and the prims are perfectly aligned, looking lovely from all angles.



I accessorized the look with a fabulous Swallowtail Sculpted Rose Necklace, that sits perfectly with the low strapless neckline of the dress. I also went for a chunky bracelet from Bonita's, this Cube Bracelet is a favorite, the sculpted beads are textures so nicely, I really would love to see move jewelry like this in world, it is a really special piece. The Tiffany Bag is from Mannon's Fashion, and I have no idea when I purchased it, or if I even did myself, it may have been a gift, just a cute little bag, I love the giraffe print accents on it.

The skin is a new purchase for me, more of the lovely Canimal Essence Skins, here in the Grace Tone Roses make-up. I just felt I needed more of the lovely make-ups then the 4 I already owned, this my friends, is how addictions get started. Eyes are the luminous Brown Realistic Brights from **[Riddle]**, and Separated Lashes are from Cake.

A quickie today becuase I am DJing my little buns off today for the Vain Inc. Party on *Velvet* this afternoon at 4pm SLT. I threw this berry coloured confection together when I was a bit down, colour always has a way of perking me up. I love this **DP**yumyum Naughity Jelly Bean Jacket in Blue, just a nice casual layer, and it comes with four different version. Right now shopping at places like **DP**yumyum is especially worthwhile, as I am busy collecting my CSR cards. I am wearing a great Grapes Retro T-Shirt from Twosome, who do some really great separates, and I adore having Long tummy covering shirts on that I can tuck it, coming on shirt and undies layers for versatility. The shorts are from D!FF=>, which are no longer available, but I am so glad I snapped up a couple of pairs before the closed shop, the style is really cute and funky. The /Feul/* Summer Chibs in Berry were a limited edition pair of flats at the recent Footwear Expo, but they have a great assortment of sweet colours available in shop for you to drool over.



I am wearing some great Turquoise Uncut Gems from Swallowtail, both Necklace and Bracelet, though sold separately are great pieces to add a dash of colour and an organic touch to any look. Similarly, the Paper Couture Diamond Bee Ring adds a lot of Personality to any look. Hair is also another sweet style from **DP*yumyum, I really am loving their hair, this one simply named 03. The styles are cute and the textures are really nice too. Catwalk Lashes from MMS, and Glassy Mustard Green Eyes from Freak Fantasia. Just a sweet, simple, colourful look that made me feel comfortable and a little brighter.

Silk Near Midnight

[MG Fashion] is one of those shops that I have loved since my sister Anessa (aka. The Sleuth) discovered it out when it first opened. I love bright colour, I love having a million delicious choices, and I love watching a shop grow from a small collection, to a reliable and consistent fashion house, where I always find something I love. On a visit a few weeks back, I picked up this fabulous Silver Lake at Midnight set from The Silk Collection. I was a stand-out, not the usual thing I was expecting from [MG Fashion], just the one colour choice, this fabulous charcoal grey, and it is just so soft looking, with a really brilliant sculpted leg. It includes the black tube top, the vest, and the pants in 2 styles.

I decided to go edgy with it, opting for some wild hair from Mirai, this Tori style is so fun. I actually meant to buy it in white, but I think a packaging issue delivered it to me labeled as white but it was a dark blond, so I tinted it black. I opted for the sexy Double Peacock Skin from bianca F.'s Fata line, for some real eye drama, and added Cake's Bedroom Lashes for some added sex appeal. Eyes are Miriel's Big Hazel Eyes, total favorites for the lovely tones of brown and green in the iris.



I had been waiting for a chance to wear these fabulous Black Tesla Athena Open Toed Stiletto Boots, they are damn sexy and so well made. I went with a simple Key Stud Earring from ::M-C-H::, a great Freebie I picked up a few months ago. For a necklace, I chose this layered Tear Drop Chain Necklace from Swallowtail. I have to say I am never disappointed with my purchases from Swallowtail, I want everything in the store and have to practice some serious restraint when shopping there. I decided this was the kind of look that could go really couture chic, so I added some Davenport Weathered Velvet Gloves from Argyle, and a fabulous bag from Paper Couture whose purses are a must have for the sheer range of fabulous colour and style options, as well as their more then easy on the wallet prices. This is one fabulous Silky look, perfect for club hopping near midnight.

Summer Comes Early

OK, not really, but the minute I saw this adorable Asian Tunic & Hot Pants set from KUROTSUBAKI at the Starlust Motel, I well... lusted after it. I could have waited till the season turned, but why wait when you can just think summer and make it happen. The Starlust Motel opening was just the excuse I needed to indulge in some heavy shopping, and the prices are so great, I could shop a lot and not spend too much at all. I also picked up this great -Hiccup- Nerd Swept Hair, which is just so cute and pixie like. I have to say I love good short styles, and this one makes the short list of the Great Ones.

This amazing Swallowtail Antique Necklace had been waiting it's turn in my inventory, and it just went so well with the muted rusts and greens in the outfit, I was happy to have a reason to wear it finally. I love the giant Peridot stone, and decided to pull in my ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ Copper Sculpted Sugar Bangles and set the gems to Peridot as well. I just think the copper colour of these bracelets is so warm, and a really nice change from the silver and gold that has overtaken my jewelry box. When my photograph was chosen as one of the 20 Finalists in the Stiletto Moody Customer Contest, I got to pick a pair of shoes as my prize, and I had been lusting over these O Wedge platform sandals, so they finally came my way. These shoes go beyond mere footwear and into the realm of art! The bag is the big fat fabulous Green Crocodile from Muism, great bags, not particularly inexpensive, but they come with animated holds and usually a couple of hold options, like left or right hand or hand/shoulder. I also love that Muism does demos of it's purses, so you can have a really close look before you drop a chunk of LaLas down on something. I tinted up the Paper Couture Freebie Gift Hoops to match the copper and rust tones better, and am wearing my Caroline's engagement ring.



This very high-fashion looking skin is another of the new bianca F. Fata Skins, this one is called Oro and is in the Ivory tone. Eyes are the mesmerizing Miriel Hazel Eyes in the Big Size, and the lashes are a whole lot of Drama from [Detour].

Caught in the Coral

So I pretty much love a Babydoll style dress. They are cute, and feminine, and I couldn't get away with one in RL in a million years. Whenever Aleri Darkes sends out her new release notices, she always marks down one colour of each new item down 75% off, I have to say, that getting great new clothes is a blast, getting great new clothes on sale is even better. So I think I payed less then $100LaLas for this adorable Aeris Dress in the Coral colour. All the colours were equally attractive, and the floral print of the skirt is really sweet next to the very curve hugging silk bodice. I decided to throw on a pair of tights, and when Neferia Abel of ~Ivalde~ offered her group member a free set of tights this week, I went to scoop them up. This pair in Tomato is a perfect match for the corals in the skirt.

We had a hat event at PIN UPS last night, so I thought it was time to dive back into my ETD hair folder to find one of the Hair/Hat combos that Elika does so well. I came up with this Amber style and utilized the touch scripted colour change option on the hat to set it to a matching Red. I love customizable Scripted tint option, like in the fabulous ChiChi shoes from Maitreya with the tintable Rims. I own the black and white versions only, and though I would love to have fatpacked these babies, I really think owning these two was the best move on a budget. I am carrying one of the fabulous new bags from Paper Couture, this Blossom Bag is so lovely, and it looks so great with so many looks. I really think that for the low prices and selection alone, you cannot go wrong with a bag from Paper Couture, I think that they are the best out there this season. I am also wearing the Swallowtail Organic Necklace, still loving this set, and I have blogged the earrings and bracelet separately before. The Gimcrack Ring is from Caroline's.



I am wearing a favorite pair of eyes from [Detour], the Delta Eyes are really lovely. Another great pair of lashes from Cake, the Separated Lashes are really pretty for an eye opening look. This is another of biancaF.'s great skins, the Longeyes make-up is really dramatic and I love the shading on the inner lid, very smokey. So I have to say, one of the least represented colours in my closet, Coral, can be really eye catching sometimes.

Tea Party Pretty

Back when I discovered a little shop called JE*Republic, it was in a little mall, and there was a tiny shop where I picked up this sweet little dress. The shop was called ::Covergirl::, and this dress caught my eye, I really like the texture of it, and the way the orange leaves and vines contrast with the rosy pink of the dress. I decided to pick up the great Orange with these fabulous =DeLa= Thaelle Pumps with the ankle wraps. I love this style and the ankle wrapped ribbon is really sweet, very feminine.

I really love wearing the sweet wigs from BP*, this one called the Micky Dango Hair has sweet 'bunnies' as my niece calls them, and is a little like Micky Mouse Ears. The skin is very china-doll like, binacaF.'s fata skin in LONDON2. I love her Ivory skin tone, it is so powder smooth, yet luminous, and the lips are so pretty. Eyes are from BBBM, and I love this pair especially, the Watery Eyes are big and deep, with a light reflecting quality to them, they are really worth a look. I am wearing lashes I consider to be one of the best all around sets you can get, the Bedroom Lashes from Cake are pretty much a perfect starter pair for anyone who is thinking of going the Prim Lash route.



I love this pair of earring from Swallowtail, although I pretty much love everything they have released, this Organic line is so delicate and feminine and makes really good use of sculptie and non-sculptie prims. I am wearing the Swallowtail Organic Bracelet here as well. The bag was a group gift from La Petite Fleur a few weeks back, and is very sweet and feminine, so I decided to add it to the look. Gimcrack Ring is from Caroline's Jewelry. I feel like I am all set to go to the Teddy Bears Picnic Tea Party in this look.

Dreamy Denim

Well our little virtual world is being a right biotch today, Phil's Place is a Mess, and Flickr is worse. I did manage to log this morning and get some shots of this great NEW biancaF. Subscribe-O-Matic Group Gift [May 12/08] that dropped on me. I was all set to shoot this dress, and had on my normal pale skins, and was searching for hair, but I loved the last *QS* skin freebie so much, I had to take a look at this one right away. I was wowed, The *QS* Darjeeling – Acceso it is simply beautiful, and really a lovely skin tone. It made my choice of hair a breeze, as I had been waiting for an opportunity to wear this great Nash Hair from Muism, with a colour AND texture scripted Scarf, it is just brilliant!

This dress was an easy choice too, I wore it last night to the event at PIN UPS, which was called "Blue Jean Baby", a best in Denim party. I love the combination of Orange and Dark Denim, as opposite colors on the wheel, the contrast of Blue and Orange is really appealing. This is Constanza Volare's Primavera Dress. I am in love with her flexi skirts, they are brilliant, move so nicely, and I never have to adjust a single thing to make them work for me. *Alchemy* is fast becoming a favorite for lovely dresses and the styles are all so unique and fresh. I picked up the orange with a pair of favorite Dalia shoes from Armidi, I really do wear these all the time, which is saying a lot since I own hundreds of pairs of shoes.



I accessorized with a pair of bangles from PERSONA, I do love this set, they came in a pack of 5 colour sets, I have had them for ages, and they have so many interesting shades or in one set, you can match them with almost anything. I also loved another chance to wear this great Full Prim Necklace from Swallowtail, it is really a special piece. I am wearing my Caroline's Engagement Ring, which I am sure you all know about by now since it appears in 90% of my posts (I am a romantic, what can I say). Eyes and lashes are both from [Detour], which I would be shopping at now if Log-Ins were not diabled. Gotta love that!

Anything But Rainbow Bright

Sometimes you pick your clothes based on your moods. When I am feeling a little like I want to go un-noticed, or hide in the background, I go for dark neutrals and simple shapes. For the most part this look is all shrinking violet, but as you can see... there is also the illusive Rainbow on the horizon. This Dress and tights are a sweet almost Gothic Lolita look from Honey Kitty (*H+K*), the Cloudy Bambina comes is a dozen layer options and includes the tights (and several accessories, not worn here).

I felt like the sleeveless top with lace trip was a little to open for my pre-spring mood, so I added a great Ribbed Sweater on the Skirt Layer. From Lala, is came White but is Mod so I tinted a muted olive to match the dress. Speaking of tinting, I chose a necklace from Swallowtail, the Knit Bead in White, also tinted a dusty Navy shade to match. I chose one of my many pairs of Dune boots from Maitreya, this Black pair keeps things slender and sleek, and are really a great pair to have in your closet. I also pulled in a great piece of Kitsch, a Rainbow Brite Lunch Box from illuminare, a pop of colour and fun so things didn't get too dreary. I pulled on a Sanskrit Cuff from Naughty Designs for a little more polish.



This great messy Brandi wig is from Here Comes Trouble, and I musy go back soon for more great styles, I barely touched the surface of what they have to offer. This skin is a favorite Freebie Skin from the biancaF. update group, from *QS*, it is sweet and I love the mustes lip and dramatic bur soft eyeshadow. They Call Me Mellow Yellow

About a week ago, while checking the Fashion Planet feeds, I saw this fabulous NEW outfit from ::eLDee::, and knew I had to have one. I love high waisted pants, and I just thought the colour combinations offered, and the amazing lovely spring fresh floral prints on the top, were divine. I headed over to ::eLDee:: this week to pick up this outfit, the Kiki 4, although all of the colour combinations available are lovely. I particularly love yellow, and so I decided to work my yellow accents, since it is the colour to have this season.

I added in these amazing chunky earrings from Creamshop, so huge (and this is the Medium size too!). The Glam earrings in Lemon are so amazing, love the details and in RL they would stretch the heck out of my earlobes, but in pixelated form they are fabulous! I pulled in more yellow with this great bag from Pampered Princess, a shop I never had even heard of before I stumbled on it this week. I got some really great items, but this Leather Purse in Honey is just so great. Any excuse to wear some Stiletto Moody is good enough for me, and I was thrilled to slip my feet into these Gold Foxy Slingbacks once again, they are so well made and always class up an outfit. I pulled in some gold accessories to go with the gold buttons on the pants, a great bracelet from {Junk}, called Tangled Antique Gold Bangles, and also decided to wear this great Long Gold Necklace from Swallowtail.

Let's talk skin for a moment. This skin is a Review Copy of the new releases from biancaF. and I must say, I can't stop looking at my face to check it out. It is just so darn pretty. I have never worn a skin with a glossy almost luminescent tone to it, and love this one. The highlighting on the face is perfection, and I took a good look at the body and it is really nice, no seams or anything that would be of concern. I did think the shading in the butt crease was a bit dark, but that is just a personal preference, and let's face it, no one is seeing my bum crack if I can help it. I am also wearing some new hair from Here Comes Trouble, another new to me shop, and I am loving the two-toned versions of their new releases. This one is simply called In and I think it is great, reminds me of the still missing in action Old Gravy. Love Love Love my Love Lashes from Detour, and still rocking my deep dark Hazel Eyes from Decollage. OK, so I may not be a very Mellow person, but I got the Yellow thing down!

Lovely In A Lil' Lilac

A little romance, a little lilac, and a simple classy casual look for a Thursday. The inspiration for this look came from these fabulous Lilac Patent Slinky Stilettos from Maitreya. I purchased the Dot Danja Cami from Differ*nt in white, and it is adorable, but seeing it was mod, I tinted it up in lilac as well to work with these shoes. Similarly, I tinted the blue Winter Bangles set from Argyle to match as well.

I pulled the look together with this great high-waisted pant from Little Rebel, that comes in a skirt/pant set and really dresses up a camisole or blouse. A necklace from Swallowtail called simply the Gold Long Necklace, adds a bit of interest as well.

This hair, new to me from Muism, is nice and casual, but I like the 'backcombed' top and simple ponytail pulled to the side. Called simply Ivory, it is very simple but it still helps to make this look really pulled together. Skin from Celestial Studios Charmed Line, as well as these really lovely looking eyes from Celestial Studios Optics Natural Series. These fabulous spider like Club 1 lashes are also from Celestial, and really add a lot of impact, I am becoming a lash addict, what can I say?

Brown On The Town

Warm and wonderful, but not especially exciting, brown can often be a very neglected colour. Most of us favour black over brown, and I am no different most of the time, but this dress from "First Impressions" makes brown sexy, warm, and delicious. When it was time for a "Beast in Brown" event at PIN UPS Night Club, I was happy to find another reason to wear this fabulous wrap dress, I love the crossover top, I love the little flexi prim knotted ties. I love that is had a nice layered look, a well finished trimmed hem, and an little lacy under-layer for modesty that still looks so sexy.

I adore this wig from "Curl Up And Dye", it is inspired by the hairstyle that the character of Frenchie wore in the Film 'Grease', but I think it goes beyond mere costume hair and works nicely as a stylish shorter look. Skin, Eyes, and Lashes from "Celestial Studios" are always my favorites, and I particularly love this make-up look in 'Purple, Orchid'. I think it is warm enough to work well with an Earth tone brown like this one.

I paired the dress up with some of my favorite tights from "Blaze", I love that they are opaque and seem to have so much depth of colour, as tights would look in the light if you wore them in RL. My 'Leather Vixens' from "Tesla", a most brilliant staple shoe, work perfectly with this dress. Paired with the tights, they really elongate the leg.

Although I normally favor silver tones accessories, gold just naturally goes with brown, and these amazing 'Dragon' Earrings from "Untone" really paired up nicely. Again, a favorite chunky bracelet comes in handy, this one the 'Circle Panic Bracelet' from "Swallowtail". A great big handbag from the amazingly talented 'Ingrid Ingersoll', complete with matching gold accents let me feel polished and ready to shop. Not like I need an excuse, but this time I have a great one! Time to head off to the 'Relay For Life' Clothing Fair to grab more goodies to blog on.

My Green Heaven!

I am not Irish, I am not Catholic, heck I am not even Christian, but today I am celebrating! What you may ask... well, the Colour Green! It's always been my favorite, and in RL you never see an explosion of green simply becuase it is St. Patrick's Day. In SL however, it is the colour of the day, and has been for over a week now, so for a gal who loves green, this is better then Christmas, um.. which I also do not actually celebrate.

Today I headed over to "Ivalde", to pick up the latest freebie from Neferia Abel, and ran into Nef mid-shop. She amazes me, I seriously think she may not have slept in years, she has boundless energy, surpassed only by her boundless generosity. Nef put all the green dresses in her shop at 50% off for the holiday, and I wish I could say I picked up a pile, the thing is, I own almost every dress in the shop, a lot of them are green, so I did not over-indulge as much as I might have otherwise. I decided that today I wanted to blog Ivalde, not the new Freebie Dress (which is brilliant by the way), and not something I picked up today, but something I have had for months, and something that I have always loved, and of course, something green! This 'Judith' dress in Green is fabulous, from the shine of the satin, to the full flowing bustle in back, it is also perfect for showing off NEW SHOES!

The minute I saw that Stiletto Moody had released some of her shoes in green today, I was over the moon! Finally! My sister Anessa Stine over at On Your Toes, had blogged them this morning, and managed to get a review copy for me. I have them in red as well, but these 'Elegant Slingbacks' in 'Green Twinkle' have got to be my favorite shoes from Stiletto Moody yet, I own about 6 pair altogether, so that is saying a lot. It matched the Emerald Green of this dress so well, and shoes like these deserve to be seen.

Nef told me to go check out the St. Patty's Gift at "Elegance Hats", and while there I picked up this wonderful hat called the 'Valena 1'. Morrigan Hyun really does have such a flair for primwork ans texturing in her hats, they deserve to be in the spotlight more then they are. Some retro fabulous hair from "Ingenue" made me feel about as Irish as a lass could feel, and my Irish 'Green' eyes, these from "Sh*t Happens" were definitely smiling. These dramatic lashes from "Celestial Studios" look great with this 'Drama' skin from their 'Charmed Line'. Jewels from "Swallowtail", "{JUNK}", and "Paper Couture" polish off my look of the day.

Delightful Charisma

At a recent "Shagadelic 60s" Event at PIN UPS, I decided to re-visit one of my favorite looks from "Marlys", the 'Delightful Rubina' Retro Hair and Outfit. Sold separately, they are just so fun, and the fabulous Fro with the Headscarf is so easy to wear! The Top is sweet with an asymmetric collar and hem, and a really great Funky retro pattern. The Skirt is a really sexy number, with sheer lace that leaves little to the imagination, but also made me feel covered enough to get away with it.

At the event, I wore one of my regular "Celestial Studios" skins, but when I went to photograph this look, I decided to try on one of the skins sent to me in a Review Package from Canimal Zephyr. The first one I tried on was this lovely dark 'Charisma' skin from Canimal's new 'Essence' Line. The skins are lovely on the whole, very nicely blended make-ups and I love that Canimal also went to the trouble of developing different brows to work with her skins, a really nice touch. Although it may not be a skin I would wear on a daily basis, let's face it... I am stuck on my Celestials, it is really lovely, and I didn't have to do any shape mods to make it work on my face. I felt like a delightful Ebony Goddess in this skin. I finally got some use out of these "bianca F." lashes, which I have been trying to fiddle with to get to fit forever, they look much more natural with a darker skin, and the gaps between prim lash and eye are not so obvious here.

For shoes, I really didn't know what direction I wanted to go, but then remembered on of my very first purchases from "Stiletto Moody", before her store had officially opened was this adorable Pucci print inspired bootie. I had never worn them, but they fit in perfectly with this look. I kept Jewelry Simple, with a smart bangle from "Shiny Things" and this adorable 'Knit Bead' necklace from "Swallowtail". I think the necklace has a really nice almost Macrame feel to it, very 60s' and very versatile. Now all I need to do is get in line at 'Studio 54' and hope I look hot enough to make it in the door!

Olive This Look!

This look, was something understated and cozy for my first day back at work at PIN UPS. I am playing catch up, so excuse my backlog of "Look Of The Day" posts... Babydoll Dress & Dreamy Heels

I have recently been collecting sweet Babydoll length dresses. This one, from "Heart Cupcakes" was love at first sight. The Rich Browns and Robin's Egg Blue in the Floral/Stripe Pattern are delicious. Paired with some tights and these fabulous sculpted heels from "REDGRAVE" it was instant pizazz and I felt like a princess in this look. The finishing touch, a suitably chunky necklace from "Swallowtail" makes the look complete and polished. I have been revisiting my "Maitreya" hair lately, and must say I love it for it's sleek styling and it's inclusion of face lights.

A Doll On Christmas

I felt like a doll the minute I put on this sweet felt dress from "Swallowtail". It is adorable in it's almost "Arts & Crafts" feel, and it was hard to decide which one to get since all four colour options are completely different and equally amazing. the new 'Knit Beads Necklace' also from swallowtail is perfection, and I chose it in white since it was Modable and I knew I could tint it and wear it endlessly this way. Adorable dresses call for adorable Mary Jane's Shoes, and these Clogs from "Shiny Things" have just the right feel. Like a little girl playing dress-up, this made me feel like a sweet little doll on Christmas morning!

A Golden Baby Doll Coat

Sometimes a great coat is all you need to make an outfit. This goldenrod plaid wonder from "Argyle" is just adorable and needs little more than some black leggins and boots to make a complete look. The hait, a fabulous freebie from "Maitreya" upon the openinf of their new Mainstore is just too great to be believed. I picked up the chunky fabulus bracelet from "Swallowtail" on my last outing, and it's gold matches the coat so well I had to throw it on.

Redheaded Stranger

My 'Red Headed Strangers' Look. When my RL sister, Anessa Stine, who is a huge part of my SL messaged me to say she had bought this outfit, among others from Casa del Shai. I had to know which colour. Although we usually don't buy the same outfits if we can help it, this one was simply to stunning for me to walk away from. She got "Sky", I got "Sea", and it is so amazing. The colour is fantastic and I knew it would pair well with red hair for the Redhead event @ PIN UPS. The necklace is so amazing too, Swallowtail makes some really amazing pieces, and this is one of my new faves!
