Some Bunny To Love...

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think I have ever seen a Tiny Avatar appear on the Fashion Planet Feed, at least not since I have been aware of it. I have seen fairies, elves, animal-morphs, Nekos, and all sorts of interesting costumes, but the Tiny Community seems incredibly absent. Maybe it's because they are not terrible fashionable, I have to admit this is the only time I alter my shape, and the shape under the avatar is frankly disturbing. But the skill and talent involved in making these darling little creatures is worth a mention.



We recently had a "Tiny Wonders" Event at PIN UPS, and out came the little folk. We have a Tiny Dance Ball for these events and for any wee folk that visit, and it is essential (not pretty using a regular dance ball with a crunched skinny shape). I love this sweet Tiny Brown Bunny AV by Wynx Whiplash, that is available in world in a number of Wynx's Whimsical Wonders locations, as well as OnRez. It is just darling, and so well textured. I particularly love the eyes, they are just so large and glassy, and really make you get all mushy. The large head and eyes evoke the same sort of protective instinct we all have for infants and puppies, kittens, and other baby animals.



Although the idea of accessorizing a bunny makes me kind of uncomfortable, I do think that the number of people making tiny fashions do it with love, and care, and really do so well considering it is entirely prim based clothing. Etheria Parrott of Tiny Inc does a fantastic job in this respect, as with this Foxglove Thora Tiny Outfit. The outfit comes with the dress, little flexi bows for the ears, and the shoes. Just pure fun, and there is so much to be had in Tiny Clothing, it is almost shocking to think there is a whole world most of us are largely unaware of. This includes tiny homes, furniture, poses and dances, and accessories. If you want to have a good laugh with friends one night, pick up a Tiny Avatar and head to one of the Shire Sims to explore, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Flat Out Fun & Thimbles 50% Off Sale Reminder!

I am a girl who loves a good pair of flats. I have an entire collection, scoured every shoe shop in-world, on SLX, and OnRez, and have already submitted an article on great virtual flats available for the June edition of Vain Inc. Magazine. So when I got word via FashCon today that Erpla Prieto of Periquita had released some flats, I was ecstatic. The flats are currently only available at her Retrology location, as her main store is having a sale of previously released items. Erpla sent me a fat-pack of the shoes this evening, and I felt I had to blog them right away. They are adorable, somewhere between the flats I wore in the early 80s as a pre-teen, and an almost faerie whimsical ballet slipper. The Periquita Funny Girl Flats come in 11 shades, I am wearing the Black here.

I decided to throw on some Thimbles, so that I had a chance to remind everyone that the 50% OFF SALE at the Retrology Location ONLY, ends on Monday, May 5th at 5pm SLT! I am wearing one of the adorable Zelda Hats from Thimbles, as well as this Starlust Jumper, and a cute Dollarbie Jacket in Black.



Since the adorable Periquita flats are called Funny Girl, I decided to have a lot of fun with this look, accessorizing with this great Fanny Pack from Yummy, some basic Black Jelly Bracelets from Overdose (PbP), and some hella big Black Cat Eyeglasses from Paper Couture. Had to bring in my Black Teacup Poodle, which I named Toto (original I know), from Wynx's Neverwhere Shop. In RL, pets are not accessories (despite what Paris Hilton may think), but in-world, nothing is more fun then a pet as an accessory.

I am wearing one of my all time favorite wigs from Armidi, the shaggy Poynter in Midnight I. I opted for a great Celestial Studios skin with just the right lip shade, called Rubies, it has always been a favorite. Eyes are from [Detour], you can't see em', but they are still fabulous!

And They Call It... Puppy Love!

I am not a huge Pet Lover in RL, by that I mean that I don't own any, and that I really have no desire too, I like animals, am kind to them, but they are not my thing really. In SL however, I think pets can be a blast, you don't have to walk them or clean litter boxes, and you can tuck them neatly back into your inventory when you go out for a night on the town. This little sweetie, named Toto, was picked up back when I was putting a Wizard of Oz 'Dorothy' Costume together for an Event at PIN UPS. I just think he is adorable, and if someone clicks on him, he yips and barks at him or her, how is that for attitude!

So it was time to take little Toto out on a shopping trip, and what can I say, cute little puppies make me want to dress the part! Girly pink from "/artilleri/", in these fab Plaid Pants and sweet 'Lacy Leo' Leopard Print Camisole, made a nice jumping off point for this look. The strapped chucks from "EnvYou" in Mischief Cove are still my casual shoe of choice, and I own them in all 8 colours, I think I wear them more than any other single pair of shoes I own. Still going with the cute factor, this adorable necklace and bracelet I picked up at "Miam Miam", I have always been a fan of a charm bracelet and tiny prim work. Now check the purse, yep it's transparent, and what is that you spy through the bag -- cell phone, compact, hairbrush, and BIRTH CONTROL PILLS! Could you die! No unwanted Prim Babies in this Avatar's future I tell ya!

This hair, from my last trip to "Old Gravy", called 'Gun Club' is adorably punky! And yes, still no word on the whereabouts of the M.I.A. "Old Gravy", but my quest for information continues.
