It's been a bit of a week for me, and being under the weather does not agree with me so very much. It certainly gets in the way of my ability to blog, which is a shame because there is so much worth blogging on the grid lately. When I finally made my way to The KUSTOM 9 over a week ago, I managed to snag up so much greatness that this post is full of it, in a good way that is. Finds included this adorable AMITOMO Black Cat Clutch, which makes for an awesome Gacha prize, you have to love the glowing eyes. I also got a chance to wear this great new TRUTH HAIR in-store release called Nissa with a fabulous fishtail braid over one shoulder. I do love the reds when I wear TRUTH HAIR, they are just so foxy, which makes this adorable *katat0nik* Fox Ice Cream Bar the perfect treat for an evening on the pier. Lots of animal tails in this blogging tale, and lets hope that my health is on the upswing.

There are some people in Second Life that have that creative spark that makes me so happy to know them. Amadeo Dubratt is one such person, he is endlessly creative and so very sweet, I will admit to having a bit of a friend-crush on him. He sent me over some of his latest releases, and I had to show you why he makes me smile so. Not only are his Nail Polish appliers fabulous, like this brand new Ama. Aloha set, made especially for the The Aloha Fair 2014 which opened today, but he is very gifty, and has put out a great Ama. Sandy Feet Slink foot applier for all of you to grab up too. Just take a look at how he burned me but good, and he can burn you and all your mesh bits just as well with his new Ama. Sunburned set. It is a full body tattoo layer burn in two extremes (I chose the Full Lobster) for various different 'clothed' parts. I went with the Bikini burn, but there are bare and even shorts options in the pack. Available now exclusively at The Aloha Fair 2014, the set comes with appliers for all your mesh body parts (hands, feet, bewbs and azz) and full bodies (wowmeh and physique), and also includes non-tattoo system layer options as well. It is really well done, and I think I can say I have rocked this look in my real life and once was enough to keep me out of the sun forever. Which is why it's wonderful to fry up my avatar for fun, no worries about sun damage here, just some hilarious photo ops! Thanks sweet Mr. Dubratt for the ouch free fun of getting burned but good!

One thing has become abundantly clear to me since my return to Second Life many months ago. I am a sucker for Gacha anything. It would be sad if it wasn't for all the wonderful items I am now happily hording in my inventory. Today, I took a visit to a new event, the Wild Things Summer Gacha Event. Oh there is so much wonderful at this event, I can hardly handle it. Too much to show off in one post, so to start, here is my adorable new friend from FRESH, the Pogi. Isn't it just "Squee" worthy! While he surfed the trees and came back to my arms, I got a chance to play with another great item from the event, this sweet Anachron (Redux!) Wild Thing Gacha Phone. It's a little different from most phones I have, as it has a heap of cute built in animations, and all you have to do is wear it and click away.
In this "I work at the local Zoo" look, I am also showing off a new favorite wig from TRUTH HAIR, one of the most recent releases called Xantheanne. Look closely, because I am giving you an awesome sneak peak of one of the most amazing necklaces, coming soon, to the Tales of Fantasy Event on August 10th/2014. The [Fetch] Birna Necklace is a stunning huge wooden and metal statement necklace, perfect for both high fashion and role-play, or in a Safari Chic look, like this one. As a member of the French Court, Madame de Pompadour was the official mistress to Louis XV. More than just a consort, this woman was to become an important aide and advisor to the king, and was adept in navigating life at court, avoiding making an enemy of the queen. While opinions on her vary, she was known to be a great patron of the arts, and a champion of French National pride. Known as the "Little Queen" to her friends, she made Versailles her home, and what a home it was.
