Always Room In My Home & Heart

Every time I begin to set up a new living space in Second Life, there is always something missing. No matter how much I adore the building, there always seems to be too much room. Look at this stunning Jasmine House from The Scarlet Creative, it is the perfect setting for my 'I was a Bollywood Queen in another life' sensibilities. It is brand new at this round of COLLABOR88, and the price is epic in a low kind of way.

I managed to pack in all three of the amazing Zaara {Home} collections from the past 3 The Arcade Gacha Events, and still had heaps of room for more divine decor. How stunning is the brand new Zaara {Home} The Maharani's Boudoir Set, not to mention previous offerings The Indian Kitchen and Living Room sets. I lovingly tossed in ample goods from junk.'s Wannabe Boho collection, also from last June's Arcade, the wall hangings are particularly well done.  My back room is my new work and dream space, filled with my treasured -Tres Blah-, The Workplace Collection  which is brand new and yours for the earning at The Arcade Event on now and for the rest of this month.  

So what is missing? It's not a what but a who, and it has been almost 2 years since we last had any contact, more than four years since we shared some time in Second Life. There will always be room for him, in my heart, in my life, and in my arms. This little Bollywood Queen is forever looking for the return of her King. As long as I still draw breath, he is the only one for me, no matter how many or how few days that may be.

Valkyrie In The Mist

I have recently been introduced to a new series of Paranormal Romance books, the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. They are something to keep my mind off other things, especially at bedtime when I often struggle with nightmares.  One of the most brilliantly written groups in these books are the Valkyrie, a group of petite but fierce women of Lore, that fight hard but with power and grace. After a visit to the new round of We Heart Role-Play! yesterday, I knew I had to go full Valkyrie and have a little Role-Play fun. It all started when I spotted these amazeballs pants called Rogue, by -Pixicat-, and yes the shoes are part of them! I may never take them off, and you will want them even if you don't RP, they are perfect for the every curvy girl, and they go perfectly with this amazing We Heart Role-Play! Exclusive Nyoki Hair from ~Tableau Vivant~, a hella sexy style for both guys and girls. The Rogue pants are available in 5 color choices, while the hair is available in dozens and dozens of tones. The poses, also a brilliant score from the We Heart Role-Play! Event are by !Musa!, and were great fun to play with. Don't wait to visit this great event, the lag is low and the shopping is fierce.

Hair Fair - Jelly Dots & Popsicles

There is something about hair from tram that just makes me feel girly and sweet. This new D523 style is another cloyingly sweet addition to my collection, available now Exclusively at Hair Fair 2014. It has a lovely wee braided crown and cute fringed bangs. It made me feel like throwing together an equally sweet look, including some of the great Gacha items at the current round of The Chapter Four, and a precious necklace from The Secret Affair. A great pair of jeans is always a wonderful thing, and this pair from DRIFT at The Dressing Room FUSION has a HUD with 5 different denim dye washes to choose from, it's five pairs of jeans in one for less than $100L! Better snap up these items fast, time is limited with most of the event items at a sale price. Adding some sweet and colorful dots by Ama. to my manicure it the icing on my little sweet cake.

Today's silly bunny look is a wonderful mish-mash of great items that I love, and some fantastic quirky poses from the aptly named Glitterburps. I found them to be adorable, and endlessly inspiring, as I pulled out my AnyPose HUD and made some silly faces to go along with them. I am not sure if I am out of gas and looking for car help, or if I have to pee, but I can't help but giggle at this whole scenario.

These poses have great feet positions, and lots of different arm/hand positions that work perfectly with my Slink hands and feet. A New York State Of Mind

Lately there is a little piece of me in New York, the State that is. I kind of like that it's there and it's kind of nice to have nice things happening in my life again. It's been a long time since I've let anything in, I have been all up in my head and focused on my daily grind. When the days grind, I like to be in my element. This look is very me, with it's classic layering, fabulous accessories, and absolutely heart stopping jewelry, it's reminiscent of so many looks I have done over the years, yet almost everything is brand new, not only to me, but on the grid.

Speaking of New York, I was so thrilled to finally get to hit The Arcade event, and boy did I blow up my balance getting my hands on all kinds of awesome. I really wasn't too concerned about collecting entire sets of anything, I just wanted to sample a ton of 'New To Me' content, and it is all brilliant. How wonderful is this amazing [Consignment] Peg Board and Camera, both random prizes from one of the Gacha machines, and the map, yup.. New York! The Loft Arley Chair is so perfect, in any colour, but I adore this bright yellow.  With junk.'s morrison bar table, it is a great little corner accent to my loft.

Back to the fashion, I just had to snag up this pair of tulip. Strapped Booties at the COLABOR88 Event, there for just a few days more and then available in the mainstore. The fact that you can see my fabulous Slink Avatar Enhancement Feet through them, and my Flair toe polish, makes them a brilliant addition to my closet.  I pulled on a favorite jacket layer tank, and wondered what next, how can you layer on top of that? Well, this is the thing I am loving about Mesh, this delicious DeeTaleZ Cardigan goes over everything, with an alpha layer added, and it moves like fabric, I am so darn impressed it is an instant favorite.

I stacked on some of the brilliant [MG] La Cubelle bangle sets, now available at FaMESHed, with too many options to describe for both arms, and went with another FaMESHed find, Coquet.'s Cropped Denim Pants. Great hair with a hat stops my heart a beating, and this wig from MINA Hair is another fab example. Finally, my most favorite 'New To Me Find' is this adorable necklace from shimmerie, which looks like something I might have stumbled upon on Etsy, but it is so much more affordable. There are several cute variation available in the shop, I may have to go back and grab the others. When you take four years off from SL, everything is NEW again.
