Valkyrie In The Mist

I have recently been introduced to a new series of Paranormal Romance books, the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. They are something to keep my mind off other things, especially at bedtime when I often struggle with nightmares.  One of the most brilliantly written groups in these books are the Valkyrie, a group of petite but fierce women of Lore, that fight hard but with power and grace. After a visit to the new round of We Heart Role-Play! yesterday, I knew I had to go full Valkyrie and have a little Role-Play fun. It all started when I spotted these amazeballs pants called Rogue, by -Pixicat-, and yes the shoes are part of them! I may never take them off, and you will want them even if you don't RP, they are perfect for the every curvy girl, and they go perfectly with this amazing We Heart Role-Play! Exclusive Nyoki Hair from ~Tableau Vivant~, a hella sexy style for both guys and girls. The Rogue pants are available in 5 color choices, while the hair is available in dozens and dozens of tones. A very sexy cocktail dress and my new favorite stilettos make for a great party look, but when it rains it pours and a girl can't catch a cab, what to do? Take some photos of course.  The minute I spotted this very sexy little black dress, I wanted it. It's not usually something I would buy, it reveals pretty much everything, but it is the lace detail in the back of the Asteria Creations look that made me go over the top. I am still learning the ways of the Mesh, and like a Jedi learning the ways of The Force, I have to say that this flexible lace cut-out was a new detail to my eyes. My body wanted to see how it looked too.

I wanted another chance to showcase these fabulous stilettos from 1992, after giving them some air over at On Your Toes, they are the first to go on my Slink Avatar Enchancement High Feet, and they are spectacularly worth picking up at the KUSTOM9 Event, where they are now available.

I am a big believer in letting a spectacular dress make it's own statement without heaping on lots of jewelry, so just a big ol' skull ring from Maxi Gossamer is all I needed to add a little edge. My clutch was a hand-me-over from Anessa, who had a pile of smartly snarky [HANDverk]  heart shaped bags to make me smile.

Another new Skin Fair Exclusive Erin Skin from *League*, this one has my favorite eye make-up, called Opal, it is a darkly iridescent blue smoky look. Messy, rained on, hair from [LeLutka] has me looking the part of the damsel in distress, or the Damsel in this-dress, as the case may be.

I am sure most SL designers would not find this to be the most flattering nick-name for one their designs, but wait, I have a point. This *Fishy Strawberry* Tokyo Shirt is all about the business in the front, party in the back vibe, thus I have dubbed it 'The Mullet Shirt'. A pretty fitting description for one so very sexy look. Everyone loves surprise skin!

This is my first blog outing for my new *League* Skins. The Erin line is debuting today at the 2014 Skin Fair, so run, don't walk to snatch up some greatness by the bucketful. The lip tints options on this set of skin is perfect, since I have always had to choose the eye make-up based on the pre-determined lip shade. Now, every skin can have a nude or red lip, or anything in between, and it always works.

I took my new favorite Oxford Pump heels for a walk about, here in the black and white classic version from The Secret Store. It's no secret, I love this shop, and after I did my post over at On Your Toes, I headed over to grab up heaps of even more fabulous items at great prices. I need to pump up my post 2010 wardrobe in a hurry, and love finding a brand that knows it's target. I am ever so happy when I find an item I adore at an event, and then find the shop is full of mass amounts of awesomeness.

A little [BURLEY] wig to match my black and white palette, and I was set to stroll the city. It's funny now looking back at my past SL, I wore white or black hair almost exclusively. Now I am having fun playing with color from head to toe, who knows, tomorrow I could be a red head. You've been warned.

It is no secret that I adore changing up my look in a chameleon like way. Though I am loyal to my skins, I change my hair often, and when I can pile on the tattoos, I love to ink up.  Perhaps my favorite change since my last rendezvous in SL has been all the new layers, available for customizing your avatar. From hair bases, to nails (thank-you very much Slink), and especially all the amazing full body tattoos.

This tattoo is an allover masterpiece call Rigel, from Letis Tattoo, and it even comes with an available Slink Avatar Enhancement HUD for the hands.  From front to back, both legs, facial stars, hands, all of it in one amazing tattoo design. I think I have found a new addiction, just when I thought I had mastered them all.

This adorable new Girl Thursday Buckle Skirt is available today for 50L Fridays, in both this sexy black version and a yummy grape purple colour too. The Dream Angel Skull Ring is so bad-ass, and the Amalfi Necklace is a long and sexy adornment. And sexy ankle boots from Leverocci make my new Slink feet look so sweet, I may pop the peep-toe look more often just to show them off.
