COLLABOR88 - The Fates: Lachesis

This month marks the three year anniversary of COLLABOR88, and it is a shopping experience of truly epic proportions. The theme is Odyssey, and it is entirely evocative of Greek Pantheon Gods and Goddesses. I opted to evoke the three Fates, or Moirae, with three looks to match these three stunning Goddesses. 

Lachesis would measure the thread spun by the younger Clotho, and the length of the thread was said to determine the length of a life.The Moirae were the personification of destiny, but ultimately were considered blameless since humans had free will and ultimately they could be held responsible for their own failures. I wanted to put my modern version of Lachesis in this most fabulous watch combination from [MANDALA], which is utterly breathtaking in it's detail and realism. An entire mortal lifespan is but a day to an immortal, so I placed Lachesis in the bright light of day. Valkyrie In The Mist

I have recently been introduced to a new series of Paranormal Romance books, the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. They are something to keep my mind off other things, especially at bedtime when I often struggle with nightmares.  One of the most brilliantly written groups in these books are the Valkyrie, a group of petite but fierce women of Lore, that fight hard but with power and grace. After a visit to the new round of We Heart Role-Play! yesterday, I knew I had to go full Valkyrie and have a little Role-Play fun. It all started when I spotted these amazeballs pants called Rogue, by -Pixicat-, and yes the shoes are part of them! I may never take them off, and you will want them even if you don't RP, they are perfect for the every curvy girl, and they go perfectly with this amazing We Heart Role-Play! Exclusive Nyoki Hair from ~Tableau Vivant~, a hella sexy style for both guys and girls. Hair Fair - Limited Edition Me!

More great hair that you are going to want to add to your bulging inventory, this time from ~Tableau Vivant~ at Hair Fair 2014. This sleek straight Francis style still had a sweetly bumped up crown, and exposed ears, something my Elf friends will appreciate for showing off their lovely pointed ears. It is a great look for anyone, and I always adore the selection of Reds in the Fall pack that has ~Tableau Vivant~. I stopped in at the new round of The KUSTOM 9 and snagged up some great new poses from *PosESioN*, this fabulous Flamingo Ccropped top by -FAUN-, and these great luminous eyes from [Buzz]. Don't forget to hurry and get to Project Limited to get some great Limited Edition items, like these initial necklaces from [whatever], I got one in Gold and one in Silver for my two initials J and K, and I love to wear them together. Not much is finite in Second Life, that's what makes a limited edition item of just 200 ever to be sold so precious.

A Stroll Through Tableau

While my SL Kitchen is getting installed, I decided to head out for a little shopping on one of my favorite SIMs of all time, Tableau. I love the color and the design of this SIM, it always seems to perk up my mood, which is much needed lately. My RL twin sister, known in SL as Anessa Stine has been quite ill and in hospital, and I am worried about her, and her little guy, my nephew who is being shuttled about quite a bit. When I get stressed, I usually need a little escape, and SL is a great one.  I'd like to think this is one of my better head to toe looks, I rather love the over-sized denim shirt from Overhigh, and this great new hair from ~Tableau Vivant~ is just lovely. I finally got a chance to put on this darling Atomic Necklace and Earrings set from [Fetch]. I adore that it is scripted so that you can mix and match your metals to get the set just right for your look. Tomorrow I will be setting up my Kitchen, so wish me luck and hand me the fridge magnets!

The Arcade Conundrum

The Arcade Gacha Event is just days away, and the previews are out of this world, promising one of the best rounds ever! Sissy Pessoa of BAIASTICE sent me over a preview of her fabulous Emoticons Collection, and they are just hysterical. Wear them, collect them, be silly, and let everyone know just what you are feeling. I particularly love the Angel and Devil (RARE) versions, sitting on my shoulders.
