Silly Beans!

Well, I went, I looked, I found... heaps of fun at the 'Magic of OZ' Easter Egg Hunt. I spent a lot of time collecting eggs so I could show you all of the awesome stuff that can be won from the prize options from each vendor, and I plan to go back and get more eggs just as soon as I can. Yesterday(-ish) I told you all about how the hunt works [HERE]. Today it is all about the goodies! You can also check out the Ozimals Blog for more information.



Lets start off with this amazingly sweet Cheeky Bunny Dress from *katat0nik*. Each time you redeem a stack of eggs at *katat0nik*, you will receive one of three color versions of this dress. It comes in a Black version, a Brown version, and a Sky Blue look too. All are amazing and well worth the effort of finding just 6 little eggs.  On my wrists you can see some adorable bangles from +Half-Deer+, I believe there are two versions, one is called Bunny, the other is Pysanka, and they come with both wrist versions in the box. 



All the cracked eggs you see are prizes from Schadenfreude, each a version of Burd's Breakfast. So far I have found three versions, but I believe there are possibly more. You can re-size them and decorate your little nest for Easter too. The little Burds are gifts from ~Silent Sparrow~, they come in sets of two, and there are three sets to collect. Again, you can treasure them or display them, re-size them as you like. The two cushions, pink and blue, and the blanket and pillow set are from Pixel Mode. All have poses in them and are great for a picnic in the park or around the house.

Around my feet you may have noticed a number of bouncy little Bunnies. These are the famous Ozimals Bunnies, and I have found two types so far, Magic and Faith, and they can hatch into lop, half-lop, or regular eared versions of these special Russian Egg printed versions.  They sure can jump, it was like herding marbles in my studio box to get them into the pictures. What is wonderful is that you can get not just the bunnies as prizes, but things they need too. This is the same for the Ozimal Pufflings, a sort of bird like animal, also in the hunt.  You can get love potions, food, treats, totems, potions and other necessities for breeding these little sweeties. So what are you waiting for -- get hunting!

Taxi To Starting Point & Munchkin Land!

There is a wonderful Egg Hunt going on right now in the Magic of Oz SIM in Second Life. This is the first hunt I have participated in since my return to SL over 8 weeks ago, after a 4 year abscence, and boy have things changed - for the better.  No more grid hopping madness, this is a one SIM wonderful experience. Hosted by the amazing Content Creators on the SIM, including GRID favorites like Ozimals, Silent Sparrow, Schadenfreude, and Katot0nik, among many more, the prizes are all beutiful items worth coveting, and you can spend as much or as little time collecting as you like. It all starts at the main TP point HERE.



Once you teleport in, grab up a free basket (in regular or small sizes for the wee SL folks), by touching the sign at the start of the Yellow Brick Road. You can't miss it. Attach the basket to your avatar by wearing it, and get your hunt on. All you have to do is spot one of the many colored eggs about the SIM, touch it (or right click and then touch if it's being tricky) and it will appear in your little basket. Once you have collected just 6 eggs, a pop-up menu will appear, and allow you to pick the shop you want your prize from. There are nine choices to be had, one for each participating shop in Munchkin Land.



You will then be offered an 'Egg Stack' from the shop you have chosen. At this point, you can either stop hunting and go visit the shop, or keep on hunting, and collect more and more stacks of eggs.  To collect your prizes, you visit the shop in Munchkin Land, and stand close to the big Easter Basket in the shop. Add the egg stack to your Avatar, it will end up on your head. Then click on the stack of eggs sitting on your head while within 2m of the basket and you will be given a prize.  Some shops have several different prizes, delivered at random, so you may have to visit a few times if you want them all. But I assure you, all the prizes are lovely and each one is worth the trip.



The 'Egg Stack' once used, may detach itself from your avatar, or you may detach it yourself, and then it will no longer work. You can then delete it or put it into a folder as a decorative item. Every six collected eggs brings up the menu, and a new stack can be collected. There are no limits. The eggs are also a Temp-Rez type item, so even if someone gets there before you do, it is only a matter of time before another pops up in the same place.  They can be found on the ground, in the shops, in little hiding spots like up in trees or near windows, or even underneath objects.  Look high and low, and have FUN!

Explore the SIM, do some shopping, and if it is your first visit to OZ, I assure you, it won't be your last! Ducks In A Row

Sometimes, 'Getting Ones' Ducks In A Row' is like chasing Ice Cubes in a Hot Frying Pan. A little ridiculous, a lot useless, no matter how hard you try, they keep shifting out of place. This is sort of my theme this week, I need to let the ducks do their thing, and hope they get organized on their own.



Having had a painful and weepy day at the hospital, I was just happy to finally get home and find a minute to pull this long in the making post together. Ever since I got these sweet GACHA Birdy/Alchemy Spring Babies at The Chapter Four, this post has been germinating. 



Needing to build a space where I could unleash my little Ducky family meant a special build on my parcel. I wanted it to be kitschy and homey, lots of spring flowers and lots of pops of color and whimsy.  I had so much fun, I may leave it on the lot far below my sky box - just for kicks. 



I wanted to pull out lots of the goodies I have gotten from The Arcade, which closes down today, so I hope you all have been GACHA'd out for the time being. I admit, I went back at least three times, just wanted to try for some of the things I skipped the first time, and some things I wanted to have more of inventory, like these wickedly awesome -tb- Vintage Campers.



Lots of colorful clothing from a -new to me- shop, Luas Urban Style, and accessories made this look as geeky chic as I had hoped. Shoes from deeR are my new favorite kicks, with a zillion ways to customize them by color, textures, metals, prints, in all parts. While, I never managed to wrangle my ducks, so I tucked them safely back into my inventory. Now I am off to bed to read so I can let my real ducks hop into a row!
