Hair Fair - Geek Out

Some creators in Second Life are just so creative and unique, you can't help but fall in love with everything they make. Their work may not be realistic or the hottest thing to have on the grid, but that makes it even more special, because it is so different. [geek.] is one of those brands that is endlessly fascinating to me. Jada Tigerpaw creates Shoes, hair, accessories, clothing, bits and bobs of pop culture deliciousness, it all is so wonderful, and I collect it like it is art, even if I rarely wear most of it. When I stopped into the [geek.] booth at Hair Fair 2014, I knew my day had come to revel in all of this fangirl love. For starters, who could resist a hair color pack called Arcades in this great loose bun style called Paper Planes Collide. Not me, that's for sure.  I snapped it out without even a demo, I just loved it on sight.  Similarly, I grabbed up a bunch of other newness from [geek.] at both Project Limited and The Gacha Mania. These adorable Trickster Wedges are just funky and so fun and in a wide range of colors in limited numbers at Project Limited, and I managed to snag the Logo Emoji Pillow from the Gacha Machine at The Gacha Mania. I still want to go back to try to get that Poop Emoji Pillow, just because it is awesome!

Rhapsody - Lust For Life

I have been under the weather and haven't been able to get much blogging done, but today I pushed myself hard to get some done because I was dying to show off more Rhapsody goodies. While the initial riot around the opening may have passed, don't let this event get by you unseen, it runs until the 12th of July, so there is lots of time to get your rock-on!

This look is put together in the mode of PUNK ROCK, whatever that means to you. To me it has always meant a lot of attitude, a lot of angst, and a whole lot of bad behavior. This MINA Hair wicked Mohawk look, called Sid, is the perfect Unisex style. Similarly, the tied shirt from +A&A+ is also a Unisex winner, it comes in a heap of awesome version to choose from. The Amerie jacket with tank or t-shirt combo from [R3VOLT] is another Punk perfect look. It had a heap of was to customize it and make it your own.  Some tats and piercings, why the heck not! Rhapsody - Technologic

I think this post has been one of the most fun to shoot in ages, maybe ever, I just let the fantastic poses by {NanTra} do their job, and played with the Windlight Pre-Sets, and BAM - Instant Rave! Back at Rhapsody, the final preparations are coming online for the opening, and I can't wait to show you even more of the great stuff I found. This post is all about the Electronica, that pounding heart stopping beat that keeps you up all night long.

A lot of firsts for me in this posts, content creators I adore but have rarely had a chance to blog. Starting with this absolutely luscious hair from .Olive., the Izzy II comes with a HUD packed with chalked and dyed washes and fades, and it is hard to pick a favorite. JD has created one of the most awesome pieces of footwear, a 3 part shoe to thigh high boot look that is a smashing hot pump, a knee high dazzler, and the thigh high look I went with. It comes in heaps of awesome colors too, I had to go with Fever Glitter Black for starters, but I may go back for more to go with my JD MyFeet. A brilliantly cute and sassy Sleeveless Tunic from ANE is the perfect thing to keep me looking and feeling cool while I dance into the morning, and some great Bracelets from ::Tabou Irresistible:: are the perfect accessory. Now my Robot posse and I are going to get a little Technologic up in here!

Today's silly bunny look is a wonderful mish-mash of great items that I love, and some fantastic quirky poses from the aptly named Glitterburps. The first three images in today's post contain poses from the Here Comes My Baby 5 pose set from Glitterburps. I found them to be adorable, and endlessly inspiring, as I pulled out my AnyPose HUD and made some silly faces to go along with them. I am not sure if I am out of gas and looking for car help, or if I have to pee, but I can't help but giggle at this whole scenario.

From the Oh Joy 5 pose set, I picked the following pose to show off, since I look like I may be trying to flag down a passerby. These poses have great feet positions, and lots of different arm/hand positions that work perfectly with my Slink hands and feet. This final lying down pose, is a Glitterburps first, a new pose Gacha available at the Pose Fair 2014.  There are 6 poses available, the rare one being a cute couples pose.  As I was riding solo on this trip, I chose to be cute bunny roadkill for my final shot, either that or I got tired of waiting for help.
