Rhapsody - I Love The Nightlife

While Summer and all it's various accouterments have arrived in Second Life, I think I have managed to shop for enough swimwear to last me a long while. That said, I still have the shopping bug, which is why I am so thrilled that another great Hottie Cooterati Event is on the way, it's time for every music lover's dream event, Rhapsody. Starting tonight at midnight SLT, that's 3am for us party animals on the East Coast, you can visit an amazing sim packed full of every Genre of music and heaps of fashion, decor, and poses to go with each style. Disco, Pop, Rock, Metal, Country, Punk, Jazz, name it, you can find it at Rhapsody. There is so much to work into your wardrobe, you will be singing the praises of this fabulous event for weeks!  

I decided to start off with one of the most deliciously fun looks from the Disco content area, but this adorably sexy .:* LOULOU&CO *:. Donna Dress, isn't limited to a 70s vibe alone. You can wear it to any party and feel sexy as all heck.  I paired it up with the equally awesome Cae Disco Inferno Necklace, also from Rhapsody. This necklace is HUD controlled to change colors of the sweet sparkly little Disco Ball, and the metal chain too. Also pictured are just a few of the items from [CIRCA] that can make your next Disco Bash a complete success, including the glowing "Disco Era" Dance Floor and the "Disco Tech" Dance Party Art Panel in the background. Moving Day

I am getting my move on in Second Life, moving from a lofty Sky Box to a sweet little place on the ground.  I picked up The Karin Cottage by Trompe Loeil at last months COLLABOR88 event, and decided it was time to have a real kitchen and a little garden out back. I will be furnishing and landscaping my new little slice of Real Estate in the coming weeks, and will be taking lots of pictures, so make sure you stop in to check on my progress.

Girl At The Rock Show

Well, there is a new Event on the block this week, the 'Rock Attitude Fashion Fair' is in full swing. I am an old school Rocker Chick, I went to KISS concerts and lost my hearing, saw Guns N Roses and Metallica in an open stadium in the middle of a hot summer perched on my boyfriends shoulders, and made a leather biker jacket and high-heeled boots my daily uniform.



I didn't know what to expect at the event, and was happily surprised by some of the fabulous fashion finds. I also saw a heavy dose of cliche 'Rocker Chick' wear, lots of skulls and crosses, boobs hanging out, ripped jeans, leather and lace up the yin yang. To each his, or her, own I say. But to me, my Rocker look has grown up quite a bit.



This look is full of things I love. A skinny pair of leather pants, a tummy bearing sweater that covers but doesn't look prudish.  A huge helping of rivets and spikes always helps, like this fabulous collar that comes in a set of 3 metal options, I love adding that little extra pop of style.



But lets talk hair, because it is my favorite thing about the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair and I actually bought two color sets of the same style.  It is wonderfully customizable, with HUD options for both sides, including ombre and solid options to mix and match endlessly. The bangs are perfect, and the texture is Va Va Voom! I had not heard of the creator [RA] or Runaway before, but will now be on the lookout for more from this creator.



A cheeky little back Tattoo from my favorite Letis Tattoo ties in the colorful hair and the perfectly matched Ombre Slink Avatar Enhancement Nails from PUMBY*. Now I am all set for the concert, any concert, anywhere and anytime.
