One thing has become abundantly clear to me since my return to Second Life many months ago. I am a sucker for Gacha anything. It would be sad if it wasn't for all the wonderful items I am now happily hording in my inventory. Today, I took a visit to a new event, the Wild Things Summer Gacha Event. Oh there is so much wonderful at this event, I can hardly handle it. Too much to show off in one post, so to start, here is my adorable new friend from FRESH, the Pogi. Isn't it just "Squee" worthy! While he surfed the trees and came back to my arms, I got a chance to play with another great item from the event, this sweet Anachron (Redux!) Wild Thing Gacha Phone. It's a little different from most phones I have, as it has a heap of cute built in animations, and all you have to do is wear it and click away.
In this "I work at the local Zoo" look, I am also showing off a new favorite wig from TRUTH HAIR, one of the most recent releases called Xantheanne. Look closely, because I am giving you an awesome sneak peak of one of the most amazing necklaces, coming soon, to the Tales of Fantasy Event on August 10th/2014. The [Fetch] Birna Necklace is a stunning huge wooden and metal statement necklace, perfect for both high fashion and role-play, or in a Safari Chic look, like this one. I will show it off again when the event rolls around, for now you can just drool and mark your calendars.

Most of us choose our hair for everyday wear, something cute or sexy that can be worn with a variety of looks. But there are some content creators that push the envelope and design hair that is so particular, so unique, it becomes a work of art and is meant for costume or high fashion styling. The offerings at Hair Fair 2014 from [sYs] are very much in that latter group. The variety of Hair available at this years' Hair Fair is astounding. There are so many amazing styles from Super Long to Partially Shaved, there is truly something for every Avatar on the Grid. One of my favorite long styles is this stunner from [LoQ'ue], called Vodka. I couldn't resist the deep rich reds pack, and bought it up without hesitation. This look is the perfect clubbing night out look, lots of sexy skin, without showing off too much, and touches of gold and black, including this fabulous Armour Ring from :Fusion:, available in Limited Quantities only at Project Limited, on now. It comes in a pack with four metal version and can be modified to fit Slink or regular system hands. So much shopping, so little time. Get your own mix on, but don't wait!

Are you the outdoorsy type? Do you love gardening, hiking, bird watching, or just being somewhere far from the the city in the fresh air and sunshine? Personally, I am an indoors kind of girl, I burn in the sun because my skin is so fair, and I am allergic to so many things it is never relaxing to me. I also have trouble sitting still for very long, so I need something to keep my mind busy as well as my body. But I know the type. My mother is one, so is my niece. The birds and flowers are never more beautiful than when they are close by, they soak up fresh air and sunlight. Winter, spring, summer, or fall -- you can find them out of doors being sporty or just walking the dogs and looking at the changes in the landscape. They seem to glow from it, are refreshed by it. I am so envious of these Nature's Children types.
This look made me feel very joyful and light, so I headed out to a favorite location to take some pretty shots. I set out to get my revenge on the grid, wearing items I tracked down at the Dark Style Fair, which is still in full swing until June 7th.
