COLLABOR88 - The Fates: Lachesis

This month marks the three year anniversary of COLLABOR88, and it is a shopping experience of truly epic proportions. The theme is Odyssey, and it is entirely evocative of Greek Pantheon Gods and Goddesses. I opted to evoke the three Fates, or Moirae, with three looks to match these three stunning Goddesses. 

Lachesis would measure the thread spun by the younger Clotho, and the length of the thread was said to determine the length of a life.The Moirae were the personification of destiny, but ultimately were considered blameless since humans had free will and ultimately they could be held responsible for their own failures. I wanted to put my modern version of Lachesis in this most fabulous watch combination from [MANDALA], which is utterly breathtaking in it's detail and realism. An entire mortal lifespan is but a day to an immortal, so I placed Lachesis in the bright light of day. This stunning skin by -Glam Affair - is also available Exclusively at COLLABOR88, and I selected a natural unadorned fresh face since it will take make-up layers well. Hair Fair - Limited Edition Me!

More great hair that you are going to want to add to your bulging inventory, this time from ~Tableau Vivant~ at Hair Fair 2014. This sleek straight Francis style still had a sweetly bumped up crown, and exposed ears, something my Elf friends will appreciate for showing off their lovely pointed ears. It is a great look for anyone, and I always adore the selection of Reds in the Fall pack that has ~Tableau Vivant~. I stopped in at the new round of The KUSTOM 9 and snagged up some great new poses from *PosESioN*, this fabulous Flamingo Ccropped top by -FAUN-, and these great luminous eyes from [Buzz]. Don't forget to hurry and get to Project Limited to get some great Limited Edition items, like these initial necklaces from [whatever], I got one in Gold and one in Silver for my two initials J and K, and I love to wear them together. FFL - A Touch Of Golden Luck

It's interesting how our tastes change over the years. In my teens and twenties, I was all about the silver. In Jewelry and accessories, I just preferred it for my rocking style. Lately, gold is what seems to attract my interest, in all tones of yellow and pink, it just seems warmer and more lovely to me. The moment I saw this Fashion For Life Exclusive Jacket from [ free bird ] I was sold on it. It is such a stunning mesh piece. The texturing on the lapels and seems is so lovely, I want to make it real and pull it through my screen.  

I was determined to wear it in a post, so here it is, paired with half a dozen other Relay For Life of Second Life donation exclusives.  From head to toe, I feel lovely and precious, just like a golden charm.  It's lucky for me that I was able to find all these parts to pull together into one great look, there is so much to choose from at FFL, with 10 SIMs full of shopping excess, I have too much to sort through sometimes. Gigantic Love

This month I may have to break the vault and haul out all my pennies because COLLABOR88 is back and the theme is right up my alley. Everything retro and rockabilly, milkshakes and rock'n'roll, and I am in my element. I have been trying to get into the event to shop since it opened last night, but so far no luck. Sissy Pessoa, the sweetheart behind Baiastice took pity on me and sent me her fabulous new releases for the event, these amazing mixable and match-able skirts and tops you can wear in endless combos. Along with new TRUTH HAIR called Thelma, also from COLLABOR88, I am gonna fake it in style until I can make it happen, shopping like a frenzied mad woman that is. This is my joy in Second Life, the ability to pull of a Rockabilly Kitten look without so much as a hot roller in sight. I will see you at COLLABOR88, and if you see me under a heap of fat-packs, you can just pass me a milkshake and some sympathy, and keep shopping.

Pixie With A Sticker

I decide to play a wee devilish Pixie with a big sticker, also known as a sword, looking for folks to poke with the pointy end. No luck in this Enchanted Forest today, but the look is simply amazing from head to toe, and you never know when I will go full Pixie on you. The main costume, Dauntless, from Velvet Whip is available in four colour options at the We Heart Roleplay event on now. Accessorize it up with some Gacha goodies from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, and you will be all set.
