COLLABOR88 - The Fates: Atropos

This month marks the three year anniversary of COLLABOR88, and it is a shopping experience of truly epic proportions. The theme is Odyssey, and it is entirely evocative of Greek and Roman Pantheon Gods and Goddesses. I opted to evoke the three Fates, or Moirae, with three looks to match the three Goddesses.

Considered the cruelest of the three Fates, Atropos wielded the scissors that cut the string of life spun and measured by the other two Moirae. This final cut was the decisive time of death, ending the life of the mortal.  I choose to think she was merely misunderstood, and decided to set this cruel beauty in the night, sky full of stars, after the sun has set on a life.  Atropos is wearing white here, a color long associated with death, in this fantastic sexy gown by Baiastice. COLLABOR88 - The Fates: Clotho

This month marks the three year anniversary of COLLABOR88, and it is a shopping experience of truly epic proportions. There is so much stunning content of every kind, and easily twice as many vendors as ever before. The theme is Odyssey, and it is entirely evocative of Greek and Roman Pantheon Gods and Goddesses. Everything is decadent and gilded, and it is really a matter of being spoiled for choice, I had to have it all. In celebration of the three year mark for COLLABOR88, I opted to evoke the three Fates, or Moirae, with three looks to match the three Goddesses.

Clotho is the youngest of the Moirae, one of the three Fates, and is known as the spinner. This Greek Goddess, the daughter of Zeus it is presumed, is said to have spun the threads of destiny that determine the time of birth of an individual. I depicted her in the morning sunrise, as she represents the early morning of the lifespan. I see her in green, a color of living things and growth. This classic dress by La Penderie de Nicole is clean lined perfection in a fitted mesh. Hair, most accessories, and poses can also be found at this months round of COLLABOR88.

Valkyrie In The Mist

I have recently been introduced to a new series of Paranormal Romance books, the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. They are something to keep my mind off other things, especially at bedtime when I often struggle with nightmares.  One of the most brilliantly written groups in these books are the Valkyrie, a group of petite but fierce women of Lore, that fight hard but with power and grace. After a visit to the new round of We Heart Role-Play! yesterday, I knew I had to go full Valkyrie and have a little Role-Play fun. It all started when I spotted these amazeballs pants called Rogue, by -Pixicat-, and yes the shoes are part of them! Hair Fair - When Hair Becomes Art

Most of us choose our hair for everyday wear, something cute or sexy that can be worn with a variety of looks.  But there are some content creators that push the envelope and design hair that is so particular, so unique, it becomes a work of art and is meant for costume or high fashion styling. Hair Fair - Irresistable Bargain Hunting

With 'Safari Chic' all the rage, and only so many hours in my day, I decided to combine my love for fashion and my passion for bargain hunting and go on a good, old fashioned, Bargain Hunt. You know the kind I mean. A new place, new shops to sample, and cute little items that are super cheap. The destination of the day was the Okinawa Summer Festival. Full of great Gacha Machines, some with goodies priced at only $10L, I stocked up on lots of great new accessories.

My bargain hunting look came together as I pulled on one of my favorite new wigs from ::Tabou Irresistible:: at Hair Fair 2014, the Merida, in this awesome bold Blood Red. It is so sexy, and svelte, and the fact that the long bangs cover half my face makes it a little bit mysterious too. Then I grabbed up this brilliant ...Mutresse... Ebele Romper, with it's HUD customizable textures for every separate part of the outfit, it is endlessly wonderful in solids or prints. This round of COLLABOR88 is absolutely wonderful, and I want to live in these threads. I adore history, and historical fiction, and since I am a complete book worm and movie geek, I was thrilled to find that this month's theme for Genre is Baroque. I jumped at the chance to play out my pre-revolutionary France costumed dreams.
