There are a lot of things that I adore in Second Life. I am a huge fan of accessories in particular. I love bracelets all the way up my arms, I love bags, and heck, do I ever love my shoes. ISON by Harry Hyx is another total winner winner chicken dinner creator in my book. This newest ISON Summer Striped Net Bag is an example of a genius creation. It has specially crafted handles that fit perfectly in my Slink Avatar Enhancement Hands, the bag is also slightly curved away from the leg, so it photographs and wears beautifully without cutting into my Avatar. Getting back to bangles, my personal favorite must-have jewelry item in Second Life, there is no one like Zaara Kohime to make my arms jingle jangle jingle with joy. Back when Summerfest 2014 was all the rage, I snapped up these absolutely luxe Indra Bangle Stacks from {Zaara Couture}. There is so much detail, so much color, and both gold and silver versions in the set, I couldn't live without them. I treasure all my Zaara jewelry, and have been collecting it for almost 7 years. Just try to pry it out of my pretty little mesh hands, I dare you. OK, Fan GurL session over for today, I need to go fan myself off, I am feeling hawt!

I have been an artsy person for as long back as I can remember, and the minute I spied the / XIAJ / Sunday Morning Artist Studio set at this past The Season's Story - Summer Event, I had to have it all. Always a visual thinker and dreamer, as soon as I could hold a crayon I was drawing on everything. My mother saved some of my early art, and it seems I was always drawing people. Not real people, people from my imagination. All through my school years, the class that kept me motivated was Art Class. Formal or not, and I have many teachers who can attest to the fact that often I was caught doodling in other classes too. Friends would always asks for doodles and caricatures of themselves, and I was happy to oblige, even in Math or Social Studies.
I was once thrown out of my High-School art class for screaming at a teacher, true story. He was a pretentious ass who wore a toupee and often would just pick up a pencil or a paint brush and alter a students work in progress as they sat there and let him. I was incensed, to me art and creation is sacred, how dare he just assume that he could 'perfect' their classwork by doing it for them. Needless to say I was all full of righteous indignation as I stood in the hallway waiting for the class to end. I still get a little riled up at the thought.
I continue to 'Art' to this day, I have an office full of paints, brushes, scraps of fabric, wood, a sewing machine, heaps of tiny cute odds and ends, beads, and just about every kind of pencil and marker an artist could ever want. But it takes inspiration now for me to push through and create. I need to be in a certain mood, and when I am, I can be up for days and night on end, just puttering around and creating things. My nieces and nephew have all gained heaps of new 'Stuffed' friends from my sewing work, they clamor for them, and want to give them to their friends too. I can't say no. My Etsy store dreams may never happen, but it is about the process after all.

Just a sweet look for a month's end composed of a lot of great items I have snagged at various events around the grid. Most are still going strong, some end in the next few days, so don't wait to get out there and visit while the crowds are thinning and the shopping is lag free and stress free at the same time. Among my favorite events are My Attic at The Deck, where everything is less than $100L, and the Cosmetics Fair Beach Party, where you can change up your whole look with some brilliant little additions to your favorite skins. With 'Safari Chic' all the rage, and only so many hours in my day, I decided to combine my love for fashion and my passion for bargain hunting and go on a good, old fashioned, Bargain Hunt. You know the kind I mean. A new place, new shops to sample, and cute little items that are super cheap. The destination of the day was the Okinawa Summer Festival. Full of great Gacha Machines, some with goodies priced at only $10L, I stocked up on lots of great new accessories.
My bargain hunting look came together as I pulled on one of my favorite new wigs from ::Tabou Irresistible:: at Hair Fair 2014, the Merida, in this awesome bold Blood Red. It is so sexy, and svelte, and the fact that the long bangs cover half my face makes it a little bit mysterious too. Then I grabbed up this brilliant ...Mutresse... Ebele Romper, with it's HUD customizable textures for every separate part of the outfit, it is endlessly wonderful in solids or prints. This round of COLLABOR88 is absolutely wonderful, and I want to live in these threads.
