FFL - A Ribbon For Your Heart

There is a ribbon for every cause, whether it is the "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree" to remember our troops overseas, or the iconic Red AIDS Awareness Ribbon, or the equally visible Pink Ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness. But the ribbon that signifies the battle against Cancer of all kinds in the Lavender Ribbon. This outfit is the perfect one to illustrate how elegant a cause can be. Girl Thursday's Fashion For Life Exclusive Giftwrapped Dress is a stunner, and also is set to donate 100% of it's price to Relay For Life - Second Life.  Similarly, these very Sexy Event Exclusive Essenz Detroit Limited Stilettos also donate 100% of the price to the FFL drive. If you look closely, Lavender Ribbons appear on both items.  Nail polish from -{ZOZ}- and MINA Hair are also Special FFL Donation items.

Below you will find all the shopping details, including the teleport to mainstore locations. To get a TAXI directly to the store at the Fashion For Life event, click on the Fashion For Life link after the item name/description so those lindens can really add up as donations to Relay For Life of Second Life. Happy Shopping!

Let's Play The Passport Game!

Let's Play The Passport Game! by Jhuzen Ketsugo

One of the great features of Fashion For Life is the hysterical and rewarding Wanderlust Passport Game. If you love a challenge and want to make a donation to Relay For Life - SL, but aren't looking to shop for fashion, you can go along with friends and play the Passport Game! Men, this one is particularly great for you, as you may have to purse hold and look for the man chairs while your lady friends shop all 10 amazing FFL sims.

Grab up the free passport HUD, you can get one for free from the Wanderlust Passport Game Board by touching it. They are located on every FFL sim, so it doesn't matter where you start or finish.

Attach the HUD, and then make sure you locate and donate $50L into the official Souvenir Vendor (as pictured above) from each of the 10 FFL sims. You will find them all in the Gacha (Gotya) areas on each sim.

The souvenirs are a donation of $50L a piece, so all 10 will make a total donation of just $500L. After you get your souvenir, attach it to your avatar and you will automatically get the stamp in your passport.  You can then detach the souvenir, or not (depending on how silly you want to look), and move on to the next area.

After you get all 10 stamps, you can go to any FFL sim, and visit the Redemption Center, and select one of the amazingly lovely prizes that have been donated for the game. Select the one you like best, and it will be delivered to you.

I chose this amazing Kimono set from -IrodorI- which comes with the shoes, hair, and hair accessories too. It is so lovely, a mix of system elements, flexi silks, mesh prims and sculpts to make up a lovely look that you can wear with the included hair or your own hair. I hope you will play the game, and if not, you can still buy a souvenir or two for the joy of the toys, and the feeling of doing good by making a donation too.

All 10 Souvenirs are pictured in my first photo (above), the Animated Skate Board, the Flying Bunny, and even the Tricycle would be great ways to show you care, and have a fun ride through the event while doing good for Cancer Research at the same time.

With favorite TV sitcoms like 'The Office'  in mind, I put together a business savvy look that also lets me rock my personal style and quirk. Yes, I am a nerd and darn proud of it! The title for this post is a quote from 'The Office', a hilarious episode where Jim impersonates co-worker, and may I add - fellow Second Lifer, Dwight Schrute, and concludes his argument with these three now famous words. Yes, the character actually had a SL Avatar and it made for one of the most insane and wonderful episodes ever. When I told my RL sister and fellow blogger that I was going to post an office look with many of the items from this months COLLABOR88 Event, she told me not to bother posting it on her blog On Your Toes, as she had done the same thing. When I saw her post I almost fell off my chair, both of them, her look is entirely different, even though we are wearing the same skin type we look completely unique. How great is that. Check it out here.

Sweet Sunday

[Full Credits Follow Post]

Sunday, sweet Sunday... that day with no plans and no obligations, the day that you can sleep in and no one asks why. I love doing comfy and relaxed on Sundays, and this weeks amazing My Attic event at The Deck gave me the perfect outfit for a day full of doing nothing. Somnia has 2 awesome fat-packs of relaxed goodness up for less than 100L a pop. A great set of numbered tanks in 9 color options, and the matching pants in a fully packed set, as well.  Mix and match or wear as separates, the whole look is just MESH perfection.  I finished the look with great flat sandals from CandyDoll from the KUSTOM9 event. Happy Sunday!
