Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Tonight it is Christmas Eve, and though I do not celebrate it myself, in-world, it is a very special time for so many of the friends that I adore, it gets me into the holiday spirit. I will be DJing tonight at PIN UPS from 7-9pm SLT, a
"Night Before Christmas Pajama Party" and everyone is welcome to come out and join in the relaxed fun. I wanted the perfect seasonal PJs, but realized I really didn't own any. I haven't been shopping in weeks and weeks, but today, I broke my own vow, and headed out in search of the perfect "Night Before Christmas" pajamas. There is no question that I found them, and gladly parted with the well saved cash for these absolutely delightful Skin Flicks Sassy Trapdoor PJ's. These PJs caught my eye when a photo was submitted a few weeks back to the Second Life: Look of The Day Flickr Group. I made a note, and was thrilled to find them in seasonal snow-flake print versions, as well as a dozen other luscious and sweet colour options. They come with the booties, and two "butt-flap" version, I chose the more modest covered version here, but if you are more daring, you can get all cheeky too! They are so well done, the texturing is brilliant, and they are worth the price for the slouched slipper boots alone.



A cozy hair and hat combo called .+*Lack*+. from Mirai Style has a brilliantly scripted cap that changes texture, and the red matched here so well, I couldn't resist. I am wearing a favorite PXL Skin, as well as eyes from Miriel and Bedroom Lashes from Cake. I feel cozy and warm, and ready for a night of partying, but my two most valued possessions, my (Caroline's) Gimcrack Solitaire Diamond Ring and my Karsten Rutledge Silver Heart Locket make me feel grounded and ready to share the joy of the season with one and all. Nightmares & Ghost Stories

Last night at PIN UPS we had a "Nightmare Night" event with DJ Azu, a spooky and silly Halloween Pajama Party. I knew exactly what I wanted to wear when I saw this adorable Fantasy Football costume from (TCKLZ), a collaborative effort including the talented folks behind TorridWear, Kari, and Celestial Studios. I knew the Pumpkin set was the one I wanted, even thought it is somewhat limited to Halloween wear with it's Trick or Treat logo. What makes it a great buy is all the parts that are included, sneakers, legwarmers, and even a pumpkin football. The socks are really cute, and sexy, and this is precisely the kind of shirt I love to wear to bed. I picked up the perfect Halloween slippers on Xstreet SL (formerly SLX) with these sweet Scripted Black Cat Slippers from PediPetz. They are scripted to blink, among other things, and are sweet and creepy at the same time. Simple bedtime friendly accessories are my Caroline's Gimcrack engagement ring and my favorite locket from Karsten Rutledge, a gift from Draco when we first started dating over twenty months ago.



My girl Marly sent me this hair this week, her latest release from ..Marlys.., and I am always happy to see her wigs. The Tre Salon Blonde style, in my favorite Whipped Cream shade is a sweet tight curlers wig, very kitsch, and the curlers are colour scripted to change to a dozen great shades. I find curler hair in-world to be hysterical, maybe it's just me. I anxiously await "Bed Head" and "Hat Head" hair style, or even one with a brush hanging from the side that got caught in the tangles, so if anyone wants to run with those ideas, go for it! Skin is a dramatic Supernova from Canimal's Essence Line, just the trick for a Halloween party. My favorite Hazel Eyes from Miriel and Love Lashes from [Detour] complete the essentials. The Pajama Game

Some of the best events are the ones that require the least amount of work when putting together a look. The "Pajama Party" Event at PIN UPS is one of those. I collect Pajamas specifically for this event, and this Blue Cherry Pajama Set from Little Rebel is just too cute. The top could easily double as a camisole, and the colour choices at Little Rebel are just so fabulous. I always wonder why there is so little of this shop's offerings on the feeds. If you have never been you have to go!

I love wearing this huge Fatties curler wig from Curl Up & Dye Salon. It come in this version and one with smaller curlers as well. The curlers themselves are script touch to change colours, so you can match them to whatever you are wearing. Just so much fun! What would pajamas be without slippers? These adorable Purple Bunny Slippers come in a pajama set from Akira Designs, inexpensive and well made, who could ask for more. Skin is by Celestial Studios Charmed Line in Rubies Make-up, seriously love this lip colour. Love Lashes and Hazel Delta Eyes are from the fabulous [Detour].



I accessorized with my favorite necklace, the first gift my partner of 16 months, Draco, ever gave me. The Silver Heart Locket is by Karsten Rutledge, and is so sweet. It clicks open to reveal an image of us together over 14 months ago. Note we were brunettes then, a year later we are old and gray, I blame it on the lag. Also wearing the ever versatile ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ Gem Jelly Donut Bangles in Silver, two clicks got me the turquoise base and pink diamond stones. Gimcrack Diamond Ring from Caroline's.

Grunge Couture!

Ever since "Thimbles" joined the Retrology Shops, I have been Jonesing over pretty much everything in the store. Melatonin Hax and Apathia Hammerer, Thimbles Designers, have quite a great thing going on, their stuff is an awesome mix of Silly, Fun, Kitschy, and Cool. But best of all... it is Uber affordable! You can indulge yourself for very few Lindens, and they have great stuff showing up week after week. Even the look of their shop is fun! This plaid shirt... with the hilarious name 'Das Pladinator' is so awesome, I love wearing it! When I put this look together, my husband Draco said, "You Look Sexy Baby!", I said "I Look Like I am Going to Clean Toilets!". And that is Exactly the look I was going for, Sexy Cleaning Ladies - EAT YOUR HEART OUT! Awesome "The Abyss" grungy jeans, some chunky boots from "Shiny Things" and a few Tats... No one says the Fashion can't be a hell of a lot of fun! This Shaggy Hair from "ETD" is Sexy, with just a hint of Sultry Eyes Peeking out from under the Bangs. OK, I need to dash... there are Toilets somewhere in Second Life that need a good scrubbing!

This Little Piggy

This Little Piggy Went to Market! Having a little fun with a cute undies set from Edelweiss, a shop I stumbled on not to long ago. These socks, from Sh*t Happens come in 2 lengths (Calf & Thigh) and I opted for the very reasonably prices "Sh*t Pack" with tons of great colour options. Slippers in SL are the best, I have at least 5 pair, and these Piggys look positively squishy cozy. Just a cute look I would so be caught in at home in RL too!
