I am feeling rather lost lately, not in the sense of not knowing where I am, but rather in not knowing where I am going. I feel disconnected and isolated so much of the time, and find myself withdrawing farther from others all the time. It isn't what I ever planned for myself, not where I saw my life going, but it is what it is. I know things can get better, I know they might, but not without effort. When I am in Second Life I can pretend to be someone else, I can dress up like I have somewhere to go, but most of the time even I know it is an act. My true self is hidden behind costumes and cutesy looks that I would never pull off anywhere else. This look is different, it somehow echoes deeper in my heart and soul. It resonates with who I have been and who I am still. This is how I live now.

Some times it is difficult to tell who is the Hunter and who is the Hunted. One can look deceptively meek and vulnerable, and then when threatened, unleash the beast inside. This sweet Pixie Cut from *~*Damselfly*~*, available Exclusively at Hair Fair 2014 until July the 27th, is one of those looks that can mask the fierce warrior within. Eilana is precisely the sort of wonderful style that is only possible with the advent of the Tattoo Hair Base, and when that layer is used well, it makes magic. I opted to go back to the Safari Chic look once more, I simply could not resist a little sexy and tribal with such a short wig. I think this look is deceptively simple and cute, and definitely masks the Femme Fatale in hiding.

With 'Safari Chic' all the rage, and only so many hours in my day, I decided to combine my love for fashion and my passion for bargain hunting and go on a good, old fashioned, Bargain Hunt. You know the kind I mean. A new place, new shops to sample, and cute little items that are super cheap. The destination of the day was the Okinawa Summer Festival. Full of great Gacha Machines, some with goodies priced at only $10L, I stocked up on lots of great new accessories.
My bargain hunting look came together as I pulled on one of my favorite new wigs from ::Tabou Irresistible:: at Hair Fair 2014, the Merida, in this awesome bold Blood Red. It is so sexy, and svelte, and the fact that the long bangs cover half my face makes it a little bit mysterious too. Then I grabbed up this brilliant ...Mutresse... Ebele Romper, with it's HUD customizable textures for every separate part of the outfit, it is endlessly wonderful in solids or prints. This round of COLLABOR88 is absolutely wonderful, and I want to live in these threads.
