With only ONE DAY LEFT to get yourself to Fashion For Life and shop for heaps of Exclusive Items while donating to Relay For Life of Second Life at the same time, this will be my last post for the 2014 event. Despite my focus on the amazing fashions and accessories available at this year's event, the cause has never been far from my heart. Second Life is a 'Game' to many people, or at the very least, a pleasant distraction and escape from the every day grind. But it can be so much more than that when we come together as a community and spend our Linden Dollars for a purpose. The purpose in this case is to provide much needed funding to the American Cancer Society, which has many projects underway, including the funding of Cancer Research.
Whether you choose to give in-world, at event like Fashion For Life, or donate directly to a charity of your choice, know that you are what makes the difference between a successful event and one that falls short. Please make sure you visit the event before it closes on June the 21st, and spend a little good will, buy something great or just donate directly at a kiosk. Every single L$ counts.
