Hot In The Shade

My Swimsuit Look for the 'Hot In The Shade' Event @ PIN UPS means putting on the "Hottest" shoes I own. These Stiletto Moody Platforms are insanely great and call for a bare leg to show them off. Seriously sexy without being trashy the way most SL Platform are. These are just over the top fun! This look is really not about the swimsuit, it's all about those shoes!

Georgie Girl

A Groovy Girl Look from Back in The 60s! We have a lot of ERA Music events at PIN UPS, and I love Neferia Abel for making looks that always are true to the style and colour palette of the era in question. When I saw this look come down the Runway at the recent Ivalde Winter Fashion Show, I knew it was coming home with me. This new hair, from Betty Doyle at Ingenue is called "Kitten With A Whip", and all I can say is MEOW! Several months ago I sent Betty and IM telling her how much I loved her hair and wished that it came in White. She was incredibly kind, and I assumed too busy to make it happen. I was shocked when she dropped the style I had just purchased in Platinum on me minutes later, IN WHITE! Now she offers all her styles in Silvery White and I am one happy Retro Gal indeed!

Another Winter Day, Another Great Coat!

I really love the warm colour of this open front coat from TRUTH, it just looks well worn and well traveled. This hair, a freebie from Maitreya upon the opening of her new shop, is insanely great, and I will wear it over and over again. And it was time to pull out the PushButton Thermals, simply awesome underwear and glove layer thermals that can pretty much work under anything and are a wardrobe staple for me.

A Little ChaCha!

The Outfit so nice, I actually bought it twice! Literally (and it is no trans!). When Antonia Marat of /artilleri/ recently had her anniversary sale, i was having major lag and crash issues, but loved this outfit on sight, so tried to buy. I assumed the sale did not go through, and when the store quieted down later that day, I went back for this baby, only to find that indeed I did have it in inventory. Oh well! I love Green, and Yellow is a close second on the fave colours list. I wore this to the "Rockabilly Ball" Best in Yellow event at PIN UPS and loved another opportunity to wear these fab Shiny Things shoes!

Rockabilly Chickie!

For DJ Draco's "Roots & Rockabilly" Event, the theme was 'Best in Grey'. So I dove into my inventory and put together one of my favorite looks. Little Rebel makes seriously great clothes in all kinds of styles and they are very reasonably priced. This "Devil Workshirt" is a long-time fave, and being Jacket layer means I can pile on the Tats! My /artilleri/ Pyramid Stud belt is one of the most utilized accessories in my wardrobe, and I have had it forever, it's a classic. When I go rockabilly, my hair choice is almost exclusively Old Gravy. Their styles are Pure fun and the colours are Manic Panic and then some!

Ivalde Winter Wonderland

When I realized I was able to make it to Neferia Abel's Winter Fashion Show, I threw on a Fab Coat and Dashed Over!Nef is seriously one of the most talented and energetic people I have met in SL, and her work is always amazing. I probably own at least 50 of her creations, and bought more after the show. This coat, one of hers, looks warm and cozy, but is very stylish and stands on it's own so well.
