Candy Girl...
Bubble Gum colours and candy cuteness, this look is all about bright fun flashy childhood playfulness. When I first spied this adorable dress from AOHARU, it was on my sister Anessa, and I knew I wanted one too, but just like in RL, we never get the same colour, so I opted for this brilliant Purple in the aptly named Girly Twins Dress. The sculpted pockets on the hips are so cute, making in much more then just a plain mini-dress. I opted to pair it with some leggings, and my favorites by a mile are these Shiny Magic Pants from Fashionably Dead. They are a silver spandex like legging, that can be tinted to hundreds of unique colours to match anything, fully copy & mod do you can save your favorites. I did mine a brilliant girly pink, but if you want a great pair of leggings that will take you the distance, these are must haves!
When ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ Introduced the Jelly Tots Collection, I nabbed the 50% OFF fatpack, netting me the Brights, Muted, and Greyscale version of this adorable necklace, earring, and bracelets set (also can be purchased individually). All of the pieces come in a box with Silver, Gold, and Copper version, it is literally dozens of options. This is the Brights set in my favorite Silver settings, what makes them addictive as candy is the fact that when you click on them, the colours all shuffle randomly to get you unique combinations each time. Yummeh! I also was looking for the perfect time to pull in my Tasty Bag from Paper Couture. Tasty... Candy... I am on a roll! The shoes are the adorable Laque in Aqua from Storm Schmooz, a great solid pump with a nice shape and a welcome pop of colour.
I love quirky cute hair, and this Ava style from Dernier Cri is so sweet, choosing a colour is the only difficulty with hair from -DC-, as the hud makes it awfully tempting to experiment with all the great shades. These Flamenco Trash Lashes from Canimal are so fabulous and girly, with black and hot Pink lashed together, they are fluttery and fun. Skin is the pixie faced Acrilik from bianca F., and Hazel Delta Eyes from [Detour] complete my look. I think my 6 year old niece would go nutty for this one, it was fun to be all sweet and girly for a change.

Sticking With Ivalde...
I make it no secret that some of my favorite unique hair comes from the intriguing mind of Aemilia Case of Philotic Energy. Whenever she has a new release, I head on over and it would be a complete surprise to me if I didn't love everything she created. This style name Lysa II is just great, it comes with the optional jeweled Hair Sticks, with color Scripted Gems you can customize to match your look. It has some great height on it, and some really nice loose strands that make it looked relaxed and dressy at the same time.
This Eirny Dress from ~~Ivalde~~, comes with the sweet bolero, and the skirt is a wonderful, rippled sculpt confection, so brilliant. This dress has an optional belt on the Jacket layer, and with the rage for belts, it will come in handy with any number of looks. The stockings are included, and Eirny has a decidedly 80s' feel to me, and who doesn't love that! I added in a turtleneck collar for a more unique look, this one from *Thimbles* Debbie Does Jacket (a brilliant piece with two collar options). Shoes are the sexy as all heck T-Strap Pumps in Black from FNKY!. I pulled in some silver accents with a simple Silver Clutch from Adam N Eve, a Kay Onyx Bracelet from Zaara Indian Couture, and a simple Solitaire Ring from -EARTHTONES-.
Skin and Prim Lashed from my first love, Celestial Studios. Skin is from the Charmed Line, in the Diva make-up, I love the Charmed Skins, and still think they are some of the best brows of any skin I have seen. The lashes are the uber dramatic Club 13 Prim Lashes. Eyes are the absolutely stunning Big Hazel Eyes from (Miriel).

KISS - Keep It Simple Style
Every now and again, I turn my back on all the high-fash stuff, and go for a simple everyday look, something that I would actually wear in RL. I am a jeans addict, one of my very first posts was a "What's In My Closet - Them Jeans" post, where I laid my addiction out for all to see. I counted 135 pairs back in December of 2007, and there were some I could not even fit into the pictures nicely, so I left them out. Since then, I have probably bought another 40 pair, maybe more. This pair, from Last Call, was the last purchase I made before Last Call was no more. I am so glad I got them, there are really something, and a great illustration of what made Last Call and Ginny Talamasca & Co. so amazing. I am sorry to say they are no longer available, but I do treasure them.
The rest of the look flowed easily for me, a great T-Shirt from Tres Blah!, this one is Stripy Goodness in Purple, is wonderful for it's calculated simplicity. A belt from *KUROTSUBAKI*, one of my newer favorites, is adorable, with it's Peace Sign Hippie kitsch vibe. A great bag from Bare Rose Tokyo Couture, The Diana Bag, echoes the Blues in the jeans nicely. (Shiny Things) provides some of the best flats on the Grid, and gave me some adorable casual options with these Brocattos Flats. Necklace and Bracelet, purchased separately, are also from (Shiny Things). These Nico pieces are so nicely detailed, the textures are amazing on the beads.
I have had this adorable Daisy braided style from [Curio] for ages, and since I buy new hair on a weekly basis, I sometimes forget to pull out some of my favorites from the past. The lovely flex on the braids is so cute, I love the bangs too, very sweet. Skin is from bianca F., called Drama, another make-up I love. Eyes are from [Detour], and Lashes from MMS.

Camouflaged Canimal
The "Going Commando" Event is one of those events were everyone does the army green Camo, and it's fun... but there is not much in the way of fashionable camo to be had. That was up until last week, when I saw the DoC Eldritch of DE Designs had released some great new Camo Cargo Pants for Men & Women under his Red Label line. I had to have this awesome Desert Pair, love the yellow Camo. The come in multiple layer and style options, including a shorts option.
I decided to really go for broke with this look, doing a whole Mash-up of my favorite things, old & new. I immediately went for these great (Shiny Things) Chunky Ribbon Boots, with it's HUD you can select just the right color for the Ribbons. I also finally got to wear my Canimal Corset, with it's Carnival like print, there are so many colours to work with in this one garment, but Canimal Zephyr offers it in about 6 different colours, all wonderful. I pulled in a great belt by Mouse Mimstrobel of Dark Mouse. This Kahlua & Creme Belt came in a pack with two versions, I grabbed it off of OnRez. I pulled in some Jewelry that I didn't think would work as well as it did, but this -EARTHTONES- The Awakening Necklace & Earring Set in Gold have just that wonderful thing that I find in most of Lucas Lemeth's work does, it can be dressed up or down. I also felt like my bare arms needed a little something, and Bonita Popinjay never lets me down with her great Jumbled Bracelet Sets from Bonita's Jewelry.
I am so thrilled with these Canimal Essence Skins whenever I want a more edgy look, and I wish I would remember to save my LaLas to get all the other make-ups that I want. I love the way they make my cheekbones look. This hair was a great find on my last trip to -=H2L=-, they only have a few women's styles, but this one was a must have for me, I love the way it lets my ears poke through, what is cuter then ears? Lashes are by Celestial Studios and Eyes are [Detour]'s fabulous Delta Eyes.

I Like Green Peas!
If you've never read my blog, you will be thrilled to learn that green is indeed my favorite colour. If you have, then you know this already, so no explanation is needed. Last night Melatonin Hax of *Thimbles* sent out a notice over the I <3 The Starlust Group (you gotta get in it, good times!) that she had released a new dress, the image attached was of this lovely frothy mini-dress, and since she sent it out the image of the green dress (it comes in 4 great colours) she "Had Me At Hello!". With the sweet yet cryptic name of Tiger Lily Dress, this Green Pea colour is by far my favorite. Simply adorable, like most of the offerings at *Thimbles*, and so much fun.
Accessorizing with green is a breeze for me, so I choose these fabulous Starley Pumps from ETD Shoes. The Funky Lime version has just about every shade of green imaginable in it, really a great sculpted shoe. I have come to realize that almost all my favorite jewelry comes from the same place, -EARTHTONES-. A stop there yesterday netted me a new pile of fabulous, these great Circles Earrings in Black with Teardrop Crystals you can colour change on two channels to customize the look. Also from -EARTHTONES- is this Triple Layer Necklace which can be similarly colour customized, really a nice funky little piece. The silver ring has a solitaire crystal that can be change into any number of colours as well, I was in custom tint heaven. Bangles from ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ completed my look, two clicks and I had Black bases and Peridot Gems, yay for scripted Jewelry!
This amazing short hair from TRUTH was brought to my attention when Portia over at Shopping Card Disco blogged it recently, love love love it! The Ivy style comes in a reasonably priced 3 colour pack, and I love that TRUTH puts my two favorites Black and Silver in the same pack, joy! My favorite Big Hazel Eyes from Miriel look Stunning under Cake's Separated Lashes. Skin is from bianca F.'s Fata Line, this is the LONDON2 skin, one of my favorites.

Green & Gold Dreams
I am just the sort of crazy that collects clothing whether I might ever wear it or not. One thing I can't resist is a great ballgown, and when I saw this elegant Serenity Gown at ~~Ivalde~~ I knew I needed it, even though I had no particular event in mind. When we celebrated one of the PIN UPS GIRLS Rez Day Parties at PIN UPS and it was a "Best in Green" Event, it was finally time to wear this elegant gown. It bodice is beaded with golden yellow and this lush fresh spring green colour falls nicely between too pastel and too bright. I love the flowing layers of what looks like organza, it moves brilliantly when dancing.
I decided to pick up on the yellow in the gown with this classic Kamoana Necklace & Earrings Set from -EARTHTONES-, which is so versatile it can be worn dressed up or easily take a trip to the beach. It is lovely, with organic pieces of shell in irregular shapes, and it seems to reflect light. I particularly love the delicate earring that lends itself well to the collar like necklace. I also pulled on some bracelets from -EARTTONES-, the Lushwood Cuffs have little inset gems that bring in both yellow and green accents. A sweet Yellow Clutch from Tres Blah is perfect for stashing a few LaLas for last minute shopping. My shoes were entirely hidden by the gown, but I wanted to show them off simply because they are such a perfect match, these Lime and Gold "Gotcha" Stilettos from Sylfie's Prim Seductions were one of the first pairs of prims shoes I ever purchased, and I couldn't resist taking them out for a spin once again. Gimcrack Ring by Caroline's Jewelry.
I had been waiting for the right time to wear this sleek up-do from The Abyss, and it seemed the perfect time to show off my Jewelry to full advantage. This Xia style is one of the closest to the head styles I have seen, really well conceived. I am wearing a skin from Esthetica Make-Up Arts, it was a gift in the Retrology Easter Hunt, but is available to purchase. Alexis Stapovic, of Flawed Perfect, is making some lovely skins now that won't break your bank, and she does some custom work too. Love Lashes are by [Detour], and Watery Eyes in Splatter from BBBM.

The Pajama Game
Some of the best events are the ones that require the least amount of work when putting together a look. The "Pajama Party" Event at PIN UPS is one of those. I collect Pajamas specifically for this event, and this Blue Cherry Pajama Set from Little Rebel is just too cute. The top could easily double as a camisole, and the colour choices at Little Rebel are just so fabulous. I always wonder why there is so little of this shop's offerings on the feeds. If you have never been you have to go!
I love wearing this huge Fatties curler wig from Curl Up & Dye Salon. It come in this version and one with smaller curlers as well. The curlers themselves are script touch to change colours, so you can match them to whatever you are wearing. Just so much fun! What would pajamas be without slippers? These adorable Purple Bunny Slippers come in a pajama set from Akira Designs, inexpensive and well made, who could ask for more. Skin is by Celestial Studios Charmed Line in Rubies Make-up, seriously love this lip colour. Love Lashes and Hazel Delta Eyes are from the fabulous [Detour].
I accessorized with my favorite necklace, the first gift my partner of 16 months, Draco, ever gave me. The Silver Heart Locket is by Karsten Rutledge, and is so sweet. It clicks open to reveal an image of us together over 14 months ago. Note we were brunettes then, a year later we are old and gray, I blame it on the lag. Also wearing the ever versatile ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ Gem Jelly Donut Bangles in Silver, two clicks got me the turquoise base and pink diamond stones. Gimcrack Diamond Ring from Caroline's.

Looking For Atlantis...
I wear a lot of costumes in-world, it comes with the territory when you DJ and Manage for a club with Nightly Costume Events, so when PIN UPS recently had an "Under The Sea" event, I opted to shun my normal goofy scuba gear, and look for a spectacular mermaid costume. Time being limited (isn't it always?), I hit SLX and came up with this extraordinary Japanese Green Tea Mermaid by Sala Snook of KAMI-HITOE. Mermaid costumes have come a long way since I bought my first almost 18 months ago, and this one is so beautiful. I love the Kimono style, the way the tail looks like it has strand of Seaweed wrapped around it, it comes with the gloves, matching nail polish, and the flexi tail looks so life-like when combined with a Mermaid AO. If I knew the proper name for the Bustle like sashes that wrap the waist on a Kimono I would happily use it to describe my very favorite part of this costume. The sashes and flexi ties and the waist are incredible.
I decided to take this one out of the studio, and into the sea where I could get some really interesting shots. I landed in the Elorian Gardens, a lovely little underwater playground with poses and dances and all sorts of lovely underwater plants and animals. I really did feel every bit the Daughter of Atlantis.
Every mermaid should have luminous, flowing hair, and this Silk II style from Laqroki was perfection. The flexi strands look lovely with movement, and it almost looked as if I was actually underwater when moving. I chose to wear a lovely skin from La Sylphide I picked up as a Limited Edition as some point, perhaps as a Relay For Life Item. So I am unsure as to whether or not it is still available, but I will say that skins from La Sylphide are lovely in general and well worth a look. Eyes and Lashes are from Celestial Studios.
It was really lovely to get out of the studio and explore a little, something I should try to do more, particularly when it involves a beautiful costume meant for a specific setting. Now back to looking for that lost Kingdom of Atantis, as a girl who loves her pearls, I will have to keep my eyes open on my journey.

The Poppy - A Route to Addiction...
When ::eLDee:: came to join the group of vendors on Retrology, I was largely unfamiliar with the work of Lilyana Dryke. I had seen some adorable things on the feeds and dropped in to pick up something specific, but had not really taken a good look around till the shop landed on my doorstep. This Poppy dress from ::eLDee:: is absolutely striking. I love the shading and texturing on the gauzy skirt, the huge prim poppy flower embellishment, and the exposed back. The glitch pants work perfectly with the skirt, really a well crafted garment. A dress like this gives me hunger for more, all the ingredients for a healthy fashion addiction are coming together.
I felt that the embellishments on the dress was the main statement accessory, so kept everything else fairly tame. The bag is a favorite from Bare Rose of Tokyo in their Couture Sections, I love the shape of this Horseshoe Bag, and the deep red colour is so great. The bracelets, I must admit, somehow made it into my wardrobe, but I am not exactly clear if they were a freebie, a gift, or a review copy, or if I purchased it. That's my bad, but I blame it on my addiction for stuff. In any case, the Ammali Onyx Bracelet is from Bebe and is just the sort of chunky bracelet that work with such a bare arm. Speaking of bare, I similarly went with a statement Gladiator Sandal from J's, these a more day-wear look in Dark Brown Leather, and together with the skirt make me feel pretty sexy and powerful, ready to head into the arena with Russel Crowe!
As for this combo of hair, skin, lashes and eyes, I am rather addicted to looking at my face like this. The hair is the brilliant huge .+*Gwen*+. wig from Mirai, and I just love that it is equal parts sexy and sweet. The skin is from *QS*, the Milk Skin tone in Dark 001 Make-up, I love the smoky eyes with the highlighted brow bone, the red of the lips is just the right shade, and the shape of the lips are pouty perfection. These have to be my favorite art lashes so far, the [Detour] Klee Dot Lashes are so precious. Eyes are from BBBM, but that is an addiction for another day.

Black Lace Baby Doll
I have been sitting on this adorable post for about a week, because the day I was going to blog it, someone else did too. So to put it back into the spotlight, this is perhaps my favorite baby-doll dress ever. That is saying a lot, since I own over 100 (don't ask), but look at the brilliance of this dress. AOHARU seems to have popped on the scene overnight, and what started with my sister teleporting me to a lucky chair to win an ice-cream cone helmet, has turned into a bit of an addiction. This Flower Layer Dress is so well done, the lace textured layers are so floaty and soft looking, the print on the lace lines up perfectly, that is real skill, and it is so feminine, yet not at all little girl in this striking Black.
I kept with the floral motif, bringing in this great Farfelu Bag from Paper Couture, which is so lovely, feminine, and fresh. The delicate jewelry are new favorite from *PERSONA*, I love Rose or Red Gold, and this Byte Dreams Collection is so lovely. Sold Separately, these items also come in Yellow and White gold, and if they are any indication of what Myllie Writer has in store for us in Accessories, I am breathless with anticipation. I opted for a big chunky shoe, and love these Stiletto Moody O Wedge Platforms, here in Black. I think the big shoe adds a lot of interest when there is so much bare leg to be seen. Also wearing my Gimcrack Solitaire from Caroline's Jewelry.
I am really enjoying hair from Dernier Cri at the moment, and the Demos are so fun I am stretching my boundaries with hair colour a bit. The Lara up-do is lovely, lose and relaxed, and very sexy. The skin is one of my new favorite from bianca F., the Bloom Make-Up has the most lovely purple and pink eye-shadow, and such a lovely pout lip. Bedroom Lashes are from Cake, and eyes from Freak Fantasia.

Back To The Past...
A felt like I have been neglecting my first fashion love, Retro. So it was time to dive into my inventory and pull out a look I simply adore. When it comes to Retro hair, no one does it better then Betty Doyle of Ingenue. Her textures are lovely, the colours true to the era that her styles are from, and they styles are so classic and lovely. This wig, the Senorita, is simply the best, I love that is had a snood (a term my grandmother made me familiar with), that net over the roll of hair in the back. But this style actually comes with 2 versions, with Snood and Snood-less (is that a word?). The hot Cha Cha Peek-a-boo Dress is also from Ingenue, one hot little number, and Betty really knows how to work the system skirt, with shading and folds, and they blend almost seamlessly with the top of the dress.
For some retro accessories, I choose a fabulous bag from /artilleri/, the Bamboo Cherry Bag is so classic, comes in a flower and non-flower version, and thought I believe it may have been retired recently, I think Antie still sells a similar purse. These bangles are also no longer available as far as I know, sorry, the are by Woo's and were a gift when Calla celebrated their Anniversary months ago. The Necklace and Earrings are NEW and very much available at EARTHTONES. This is the new Fire version of the Grazia Set, which used to be more natural pearl colours, and now comes in brilliant brights in silver or gold settings. The shoes are a perfect fit, Maitreya's Enchants in Antie's Black, with sexy red soles. Retro, Fun, Fabulous!
A trip to Celestial Studios for other basics, the Skin is from the Charmed Line, in the lovely Red-Diva make-up. Eyes are from (CS) Optics, the Natural Series in a lovely Hazel, and the Lashes are Celestial's Prim Lashes in Classic Style (No. 10). I have always said my favorite thing about Phil's Place is that we can effortlessly travel between Era's and Styles, and what fun would it be if we didn't take advantage of that.

TULI Fabulous Garden Party
Summer is the time to get outside, away from the whirl and beep of your PC, and into the backyard. Everyone loves a Bar-B-Que, but even more then hot dogs and hamburgers (or Veggie Fare), I love a Garden Party. You know the kind where there are cute little cafe tables, real (not paper) napkins, pretty plates, raspberry lemonade, and a gaggle of gals are dressed up to enjoy finger sandwiches and pasta salad under pretty umbrellas. When I saw this adorable outfit at []::TULI::[], it screamed Garden Party to me, it is an adorable belted summer dress with and optional sweater jacket, and it is so fresh looking. I also loved the named, the Pennie Set. I was studying to be a Professional Chef before I landed in Nursing School, so I immediately thought Penne Pasta when I read the name, and what goes better with Penne then Pesto? Nothing! So these adorable Pesto Silk Wrapped Shank Heels from Paper Couture seemed the perfect match!
I added a few pretty and feminine accessories, this delicate Veraneo Set from Bebe in White and Green, a lovely necklace and earrings set. The Ring seems perfect for a Garden Party, the Paper Couture Diamond Bee Ring may help ward off the bees and wasps that are attracted to outdoor parties. The bag is also Paper Couture, the Sophie Bag is a lovely clean silky looking satchel, a very good place to hide sunglasses and lip gloss.
Hair is NEW to me from Dernier Cri, the Kate style is cute and flippy, and off the neck, a must for summer. I love the way Dernier Cri sells it's hair, it is ingenious, you get the style in a pack of 1, 3, or more, and a hud to wear so that you can select the colour from the dozens of options available. Go try it out with a Demo, coolest thing you will ever see, and the styles are lovely in general, woman's and men's. I hope that White is added as an option soon, that would be icing on my cake. Skin is the lovely *QS* Skin Freebie from the bianca F. update group a few months back, and I loved it so much I went in and bought another make-up in it this past week. Eyes are from Freak Fantasia, and Lashes are the absolute must-have Love Lashes from [Detour].

The Fashion Planet Feed...
This post may not be popular with everyone, but I have seen drastic changes going on on the Fashion Planet - World of SL Feed and I am not entirely sure they are positive. Please feel free to COMMENT, I will post all comments received, I want to know if you agree or disagree.
In the last few weeks, there have been dozens of new Blogs added to the feeds. I say WELCOME! I am always happy to see new content and hear new voices. I think it is absolutely necessary that the feed list is updated and these blogs get their place among the hundreds of others. There are some on the feed list that have gone dormant, or are no longer valid addresses, so NEW is good.
I also want to say that even though I waited about 6 months, posting every day to my personal blog before getting added to the feed, I have no issue with brand new bloggers with only a few posts showing up on the feed. I don't run it, it is not my place to decide.
What I do have a problem with, is people not respecting the fact that the feeds are a very busy place, and though the audience for them is relatively small, I get incredibly frustrated when people:
A) Repost of the Same Entries Day after Day for Weeks on end. I mean WORD FOR WORD same pictures, repost after repost with titles like "What's New @ [Insert Store Name Here]. For daily consumers of the blog, this is a real turn off.
B) People repeatedly posting NON-FASHION RELATED information on the feeds. I am not talking about things like "I am getting disillusioned with SL" or "My RL is preventing me from posting", or "I am having problems with the new viewer, my computer, etc." that is related in my mind. I am talking about things like posting a Non-SL related survey or fad that is going around, and everyone on the feed does the same thing at the same time, clogging the feed and choking out the Fashion related content.
C) People not using "CUTS" for incredibly picture intense posts, or even worse, people breaking up a single posts into DOZENS of smaller posts on the SAME DAY, meaning they dominate the feed with 10 posts in one day, and you can hardly find any other bloggers posts on the feeds. This is tantamount to "Boggarting" the feeds, taking them over for your personal use, and it is very much like SPAM.
D) People posting Fashion Shots, Images of Clothing and Accessories with NO CREDITS what-so-ever. I don't mind if the SLURLS are not all present, but if you aren't even able to say who made your clothes, you are not giving credit where it is due and it is just frustrating.
E) People CHANGING THE TIMES on their posts, so that they remain at the top of the feed. We each get about 24 hours on the feed, and that is pretty darn generous considering it is a free service for bloggers. I just think it is unfair to fiddle with post times to remain on the top of the heap.
F) New Store Blogs added to the feed that then list EVERY ITEM they have ever made in the same day. Please, break it up over a few days at the very least, it is just overload. Again, like SPAM.
The reason I am posting this, is simply because I can not imagine I am alone in this. I just want people to understand that when I see one of the above things happen, it does not cause me to stop and look at your posts, what it usually does is cause me to scroll right on by, and perhaps after repeated incidences, avoid reading your posts entirely in the future.
As a blogger that almost entirely BUYS what I wear, and does not openly solicit Review Copies, I am not only a blogger, but a CONSUMER of the Feed, and possibly a CUSTOMER. You may not realize how much you may be turning off your potential customers when you do one of the above things, and I am sure that would not be your intention.
Again, I welcome any COMMENTS. If you disagree, tell me why you feel differently. If you have another pet peeve to add to the list, please do.
Thanks for reading.

Doing The ChaCha!
While exploring the new *Velvet* SIM, home to bianca F., *QS* Skins, Vain Inc., and dozens of other brilliant shops, I wandered in to Frozen Turquoise Valentine. Sad to admit I had never been to their shop before, and had never really seen them on the feeds, but I was never so happy to discover a "new to me" shop. The very first thing I saw when I walked inside, was this adorable ChaCha Dress, and the Lime Colour immediately caught my eye. So sweet and fresh, flirty and fun, well crafted, and reasonably priced, who could ask for anything more. By the time I stepped outside the shop, my arms were full of fabulous finds, I urge you all to visit *Velvet* and make sure you check out FTV when you are there.
When I heard that Laqroki had released new styles in my favorite white shade, I headed over to check them out. I scooped up 2 of the new wigs, and as someone who never tries on Demo Hair, (a mistake BTW) I headed home to check them out. I do love this June style, the length, colour, and texture is lovely, but I didn't notice from the ads that on the left side of the forehead, there is a big gap in the bangs, they seem to stop short. I had to rez another wig on the ground, unlink, and pull of the bangs from it, then rez a second unlink, and add in the bangs piece to the one I wanted to wear. It is difficult with TGA Textures to achieve a seamless look, and if the photos show an oddly angled bang sweep it is because it was the best I could do. The style is very nice, but it is my own fault for not trying a Demo, and I will never plop down $400LaLas so quickly again, which is a very high price for hair in a single color. Live, Learn.
The shoes are a brilliant pair of freebies from the ETD Clover Hunt during St. Patrick's Day, The Hampton Wedge is a lovely chunky Sandal and is available in a wide range of great colours, this one is Lucky Green. The bag is the even so french Madeleine Bag (like the shell shaped cakes) from Paper Couture, as are the Basic Hoop Earrings. The intricate bracelets with the inset gems are from -EARTHTONES-, the Lushwood Cuffs are part of the latest batch of releases and are really eye-catching. Gimcrack Ring is from Caroline's.
Skin is Canimal's Essence of Grace in Poison Make-Up, so pretty with the Echo of Green in the shadow. Eyes are the lovely emotive Mystical Doll Eyes by Lost at Naughty Designs, and Love Lashes are from [Detour].

Easy, Breezy, Lemon Squeezy
Anyone who has seen my blog before knows I love colour, all colours, but I am most often drawn to bright greens, oranges, and yellows. Call me citrus happy, but when Marleen Vaughn of ..Marlys.. had a sale recently, the minute I saw this adorable Chalice Fruit Cup Dress in Lemon, I had to grab it off the rack. Marleen is a riot, if you have ever seen one of her notices to FashCon, it is absolutely brilliant (snippet's of dramatic conversations out of context), and her clothes and hair are so cleverly conceived. There is a wonderful continuity in her work, and there is something for everyone from casual to party wear. A vintage nod, a clever presentation, really worth a look.
So sticking with a lemon wedge, literally, I cam upon these adorable Heart Wedge Sandals in Yellow from J's. The are the most brilliant shoes, not just because they match the dress so well, but because they have so many extras. They come in about 10 luscious colours, you can change the texture from dotted to plain, add toe rings, charms, adornments, and anklets, all with a click. J's Shoes is a must see... I thank Anessa for the tip off, wait till you see the shoes with the Toes! I also added Canimal's Jpop Can Earrings in Lemon, cute little Soda Cans. The Beaded Purse picks up on the yellow and turquoise so nicely, it is from Pampered Princess, and there are some adorable summer clothes and purses in shop. I picked up the heart charms on the shoes in this adorable Chunky Heart Necklace from Miam Miam, and made good use of some ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ Gem Jelly Donut Bangles that have touch scripts to change the Bangle and Gem colours.
Essentials are the adorable Flamenco Trash Essence Lashes from Canimal in Pink, that look brilliant with this bianca F. Bloom skin with eye make-up in purple and pink tones. Hair is from AOHARU HAIR, called Lily, and it did require a little prim by prim adjustment to get the right fit, but is adorable and well worth the time. Eyes are Splatter from BBBM's Watery Eyes Mud Set.

Hide & Seek
I don't find buckers naked sexy, I don't mean tasteful nudes, I mean full on in your face "here's my bits"! To me, sexy is more about what you hide then what you show, and hiding a lot and showing a little is sometimes the most tempting of looks. This outfit is all about showing a little, hiding a little, and being a total Fashion Diva. Let's start at the top with this Vanessa Hair from MMS in Pitch Black. A previous group gift, what I like about it is that it let's me peek out from behind sleek straight pieces. This fantastic skin from bianca. F is called Mask quite appropriately, with a sweep of smokey shadow over the bridge of the nose, it adds drama and artistry. Eyes are Freak Fantasia's Glassy Mustard Green, framed by [Detour] Love Lashes.
Hiding a little, and revealing just enough with sexy glimpses of the soft sides of the torso and smooth shoulders is this stunning Le Fashionable Python outfit from [MG Fashion]. I love a hot little mini-skirt, that lets a whole lot of leg show, particularly when your legs are clad in Stiletto Moody's NEW Gladiator Boot. I had a chance to model these when they were beta versions, and wore them in this month's issue of Vain Inc. Magazine and I was patiently waiting for them to be mine. Stiletto dropped a pair on me after release, and I could not be more thrilled with them. They are so well done, textures are lovely, and the sculpted pieces are used ingeniously to wrap and caress the leg, drawing the eye up the leg with delicious cut-outs revealing small glimpses of soft smooth skin. If I didn't have to blog and therefore change my outfits on a daily basis, I might be caught wearing them every day.
Accessories are sleek and minimal, with these ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ Copper Coloured Sculpted Sugar Bangles, which I touch scripted to Onyx Gems. I am wearing the Diamonde. Gillian Ring, that I once again tinted, this time to a copper orange colour, and think it goes perfectly with this look. Finally, this great simple clutch served me well on my trip to the RFL Fashion Expo 2008, where I spent as much as I possibly could. It is the PV Portfeuille ‘Oceane’ Black by Precious Vukovic, but I was unable to find a current in-world location.
So what have we learned? If you are seeking attention, hide a little skin.

Spice Up Your Life
Oh Shoes, How I Love Thee! When my sister Anessa told me that ETD had some great new shoes, I was eager to see. Elika's buckle boots were the first prim shoes I owned (ignoring a pink blingy platform error, I was such a noob!), and I have been a fan ever since. Her new releases are brilliant, there is no other word. The shape of these Starley Pumps is so lovely, I got it in at least 4 different colour or print options, and I was spoiled for choice really. But the one I HAD to have, this warm orange Spice colour. I didn't know if I would ever find the dress to wear with them, but I wanted them.
Anessa and I power shop like maniacs when we can finally hit the shops together. After hitting ETD, Anessa and I moved on to <3 Cupcakes to grab up the dozens of free and fabulous dresses, but when I saw this Tangerine Mini Dress in the New Releases section, I was over the moon! That's the dress to go with the shoes! I love this sexy minidress, and since this is the summer of legs (so says I), I showed of my stems in style. I stayed with the warm tones, opting to wear my Gold Burlington Handbag from Adam n Eve. I love a wee bit of kitsch, and these huge earring from (Yummy), the Together Earrings, look very glam from afar, but close up are adorable little Japanese dolls. I pulled in some lovely bangles from /artilleri/ that Antie put out in the Mother's Day Rose Hunt on Retrology, I am not sure if she sells them in her shop, but she should! The Wooden Bangles are touch scripted to change wood colour textures. how awesome is that? Also wearing my Caroline's Gimcrack Diamond Solitaire.
This hair is a new release from *Muism*, Cindy, and I am seriously Jonesing for more releases in their hair department (as well as pretty much everything else they make to be honest). The Skin is from bianca F., one of my favorites, the Longeyes make-up is so dramatic. Speaking of bianca F., her new sim *Velvet* opened to the public yesterday, and she has some great freebies (including a skin) hidden around the SIM in big red hearts, easy to find, and there are some great goodies out for you to grab! Eyes are from Freak Fantasia, Love Lashes by [Detour].

It's All In The DEtails
I remember the first time I wandered up the curved path toward the enormous DE Designs store, I had never seen a building that big before, and when I finally made it inside (I rarely fly, cause I am a klutz and don't like watching my avatar bash into walls) I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume and range of DoC Eldritch's work. It was the first real looking clothing I saw, and the details were so impressive. Over a year and a half ago now, but DE has been around since 2005 and still is some of the best. I have had this outfit, Carine, for several months. I just think it is elegant, a little bit Nashville Chic (if that is even a term) and really wearable. It comes with both this long skirt as well as a pair of slacks. I love the corset like waist, very pretty.
The details of the outfit really called for some casual simple accessories, like this Black Pearl Set from Paper Couture, which look great with the open v-neck of the top. I also pulled in a basic black bag from Paper Couture, so happy to have this Boulevard Bag in my inventory, and the mini-duffel look is really a hit this season. The shoes are the brilliant Black Diva Heels from Tesla, a cross between vintage and couture, and really great in a whole rainbow of colours. Also wearing Gimcrack Diamond Solitaire from Caroline's Jewelry and a favorite cuff from Frangipani Designs, the Black Pearl & Silver Cuff makes my pearl loving hear soar.
This hair was something I had to grab the minute I heard Elika had a new release after about a month's absence in-world. It was worth the wait though, this Celia style is another lovely example of ETD's fabulous casual up-dos. When I say it was worth the wait, I am particularly referring to the new shoes and boots Elika released, I think I bought 6 pair on that trip, and would have kept going had I had the cash to spare. I will be showing some off soon.
This skin was a must have for me, and I had been meaning to get over to *QS* Skins to check them out ever since I received a few freebie gift *QS* Skins from the bianca F. group subscribe-o-matic. I swear getting the lovely free skins was the surest way to get my LaLas spent, the freebies were flawless, and I fell in love with the smoky eye and wanted a red lip version. Would love to see more releases in the *QS* line, and with the opening of the new Velvet SIM this week, I have high hopes! Cake's Bedroom Lashes flutter above Freak Fantasia Glassy Mustard Green Eyes.

A Little Nauti... A Lot Nice
I was going to save this look for later in the week, but what with the record temperatures outside, and it being "National Donut Day" apparently in the states (seriously considering moving to a country that has holidays for fried dough!), I decided to move up this breezy nautical look, complete with donuts! ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ blogged today about this adorable holiday, and since they are having a sale on their donut bangles (only $50LaLas a pop), I decided to show you just how versatile they are. This set is called Gem Jelly Donut Set, and this is the one with Silver settings. I had the whole outfit together when I put these on, and two clicks made the bands Navy Blue and the gems Diamonds. I think the sale at ~*Fresh Baked Goods*~ lasts until midnight tonight, so still oodles of time to get some for yourself.
The adorable breezy pants are from *AD* by Aleri Darkes, and I picked them up weeks ago when they were released for 75% off. I love that they are called the Seattle Bottoms, since that is where my man hails from, and I do rather fancy his bottom. The top is from Fashionably Dead, it comes with the belt on the system layer of the jacket, and also comes with a necklace version. I love the nautical feel of it, and the v-neck gives me the opportunity to wear this cute Feather Necklace from REDGRAVE. The adorable shoes are so summer, a recent release from (Shiny Things), and they are just so darn cute. The Brandys are a sweet little cork wedge slide, with a little lacing on the upper. I opted for this great Brocade Bag from Igrid Ingersoll, that I picked up on the Tableau SIM some time back, it came with a red version as well, just a lovely little bag to have. Also wearing my favorite standby Multi-Set Tunnel Earrings from Drifting Sands, and my Gimcrack Solitaire Ring from Caroline's.
The hair/hat combo is from Celestial Studios, and is a great scripted item, that changes the hat colour by touch. The Jennifer Hair has great sleek bun in back, and some loose bangs in front makes it a really nice relaxed look. The sweet Blue- Sky shadowed skin is also from Celestial Studios, one of my old favorite, that always looks so fresh and new when I wear it. Eyes are from Freak Fantasia, and the Love Lashes hail from [Detour]. A nice Nautical Look, that makes me feel like going to the Yacht Club.

If You Want Attention...
In response to her questions about a new flickr group called "Thinspo in SL", Tenshi Vielle was told "If you want attention, wear a watermelon around your neck" by the groups founder. The group is basically promoting unhealthy looking avatars and idolizing chachexic (it means a wasted body, as in one that has used every single fat cell to keep itself alive... pays to be an RN) and possibly anorexic RL models, and using these images as "Thin Inspirations" and ideals to strive towards.
Tenshi Vielle, among a number of other advocate bloggers, brought the issue to the fore on her blog. In the commentary that followed Tenshi's post on Shopping Cart Disco, she highlighted this ludicrous response to her attempt to join the Flickr group. My comments stated that if someone would make me a Watermelon Necklace, I would wear it and blog it; Because if being anti-PRO ANOREXIA is seeking attention, then count me in!
Moire Georgette of bossa nova fame and the new comme il faut brand promptly dropped this baby on me, and I just got around to wearing it. Sorry for the delay Moire! Embrace the Watermelon People... It is your friend! No one is saying that thin is evil and fat is good, but the promotion of an unhealthy lifestyle in any form is deplorable.

Simply Red
When the dress code calls for red, I dive into my inventory and see what comes up under the search for the colour. I always see if there are hits in my *NEW* Items folder first, and lo and behold, there it was. This fabulous (seriously cannot think of another word for it) Laika Dress from ~~Ivalde~~ is so well crafted. First off, the skirt is insanely cute and almost tutu like, made from sculptie ruffles, and is just so wonderfully textured. Then there is the one sided sculpted shoulder, which is so bang on trend right now, but this dress has almost an 80s' fabulous feel to it. It comes with the great printed tights, images of faces, in black shadow on white almost Warhol-like. Neferia Abel endlessly fascinates me in her ability to create wearable art, she has such skill and dedication to her work.
Accessorizing was tricky, because red is one colour, but comes in a million shades. I started with my shoes, and opted for these adorable Kitties Lair Francine Mary Jane's in Red with Silver Accents. These were review copies dropped on me when my sister Anessa over at On Your Toes told the creator that I might like them. I don't just like them, I love 'em! The are just such statement shoes, they are a little chunky, a lot funky, and have adorable touches like the laces with the metal tips. I went for a little more of a pinked up look with these great Leather Ring Wristbands from ETD. I have had them for over a year, so I am not certain Elika still sells them, but she should, they are so well made, particularly because they are not sculptie prims. For earrings, I chose these ToRiCo Earrings, that have a caged crystal heart, I believe they are from kikis closet, but the naming was a bit confusing to me. Well worth finding though, they are a bit goth, but a lot interesting. I literally went out in search of the perfect bag to wear with this dress, and after hitting a few of my favorites, finally happened upon this amazing Wrist Chained Clutch from Muism. I think the texture and the colour are a perfect match to the ruffled and ruched dress.
Yay for new hair! Picked up this great wig at *0 Style* (Zero Style) on my last trip over, Yuuya in White is a great shaggy style, I love the one untamed curl on the crown, so cute. The skin is my favorite Red Lipped Celestial Studios make-up, Red Dusk, from the Charmed Line. I particularly love the subtle smokey eye shadow. Big Hazel Eyes are from Miriel, and Love Lashes from [Detour]. What started out as a simple search for red, became simply fabulous!

Confessions of a Tacky Tourist...
I just couldn't do it! We recently had a Tacky Tourists Event @ PIN UPS, and I tried really hard to be tacky! I thought to myself, go for clashing colours, go for huge accessories, be all over the map... and you know what? Everyone said I looked "Cute". Oh well, can't fight it... I love this look! It all started on my last trip to [Detour], when I picked up this great Distressed Denim Mini Skirt. It comes in about a dozen colours, but this green (No. 4) was the one that caught my eye! Next stop, =DeLa*=, where I heard rumor that they did more then just shooz! I loved this "Jessie" Tank Top in Orange, and it came with this fabulous Turquoise Scarf too. I need more scarves I think!
Keeping with =DeLa*=, these fabulous "Namid" Sandals in Green, with a script change option for the stones, I set this pair to Amber to mirror the Orange in my top. Seriously addicted to the new jewelry at ::69::, I went with these fabulous chunky Pyramid Bracelets in Green and Brown. Can I just say that if there is a bangle out there I don't already own, then I gotta get it! There is nothing hotter this summer! A wooden ring with Gold Beads from Caroline's Jewelry is a nice beach touch. Big Reptile Sunglasses in Orange from /artilleri/, I always fatpack Antie's eye wear, and I am never sorry! Can we talk kitsch for a moment here? How great is this giant Raffia Tote from Mirrors & Mirai Style? Called simply the Kago Bag, it is hilarious, with a touch script to dispense the items inside, including a can of chips! Yummeh!
Mirai is the place for Big Bold & Fabulous Hair, this Mash Style is so fun, I swear I intended to look like some Snow Bird Grandma in Florida, but it is just too cute! Wearing bianca F.'s Fata Skin in Ivory - Oro make-up, love it. Hidden eyes are from Muriel, but still worth mentioning!

A Little Baby Phat
It all started when my sister Anessa dropped a folder labeled "Thought You Might Like This" on me. Inside... two other folders, marked [P/a] RUSH. I was clueless, so I dug into them, and found this awesomely huge Necklace and Earrings from [PERTURB/ation]. I felt like Kimora Lee Simmons meets Lil' Kim. And I had to go for the gold. The necklace and earrings are brilliant bright gold, set with diamonds and not a Particle BLING in sight! I matched them up with a Gold Summer Weave Belt from Caroline's Jewelry, and my (Yummy) Found Hearts Gold Bracelet, which I script changed to a black band. I tinted up one of Valena Glushenko's rings from Diamonde., this one called Mariya. The ring came with a skin too (not worn), both for just $50LaLas!
To let the gold speak for itself, I went with this Black Denim Cotton Jumpsuit from Armidi Everyday, which is Feline Sexy and Slinky, and lets those lovely lady lumps and humps do the talking. I pulled on some sleek boots, the fabu Maitreya Dune Boots in Black. Oh How I Love Them! I also found another great bag at Bare Rose Couture, and seriously you have to go see them, this one is called simply Suede Black Bag, but comes in 2 styles (Fringe and Non-Fringe) and also 3 Hold Positions (Arm, Hand, Shoulder). It is 6 bags in one, and so inexpensive! Bare Rose does so many wonderful bags, and they just released a few more this past week.
For Big Schmexy Hair, I opted for this Mirai Pani Style in Black. I am addicted to the seriously huge and dramatic styles at Mirai lately. I went with a favorite skin, this bianca F. *bf* Fata Acrilik skin in Ivory tone, which is so unique, love the daubs of silver shadow on the inner eye crease, it really give a wide eyed effect, the lip colour is also very luscious. Eyes and Lashes are both from [Detour]. I am definitely feeling Pretty, Hot, and Tempting in this look.
