Earning My Stripes

Pushing through when you are fighting fatigue and exhaustion is a special kind of ability, and one I seem to be lacking for the most part. Today I have managed to do it, but who knows what tomorrow may bring. I figure every push is like earning my stripes, so to speak, and over my lifetime, I have more stripes than places to display them. This adorable look came together with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of awesome pieces from a lot of different places. Really it is my favorite way to blog, although time consuming, pulling together a really unique look is what makes me most happy. When you combine well made items in new and unexpected ways, you can really express your own sense of style.

Hair Fair - Jelly Dots & Popsicles

There is something about hair from tram that just makes me feel girly and sweet. This new D523 style is another cloyingly sweet addition to my collection, available now Exclusively at Hair Fair 2014. It has a lovely wee braided crown and cute fringed bangs. It made me feel like throwing together an equally sweet look, including some of the great Gacha items at the current round of The Chapter Four, and a precious necklace from The Secret Affair. A great pair of jeans is always a wonderful thing, and this pair from DRIFT at The Dressing Room FUSION has a HUD with 5 different denim dye washes to choose from, it's five pairs of jeans in one for less than $100L!
