COLLABOR88 - The Fates: Lachesis

This month marks the three year anniversary of COLLABOR88, and it is a shopping experience of truly epic proportions. The theme is Odyssey, and it is entirely evocative of Greek Pantheon Gods and Goddesses. I opted to evoke the three Fates, or Moirae, with three looks to match these three stunning Goddesses. 

Lachesis would measure the thread spun by the younger Clotho, and the length of the thread was said to determine the length of a life.The Moirae were the personification of destiny, but ultimately were considered blameless since humans had free will and ultimately they could be held responsible for their own failures. I wanted to put my modern version of Lachesis in this most fabulous watch combination from [MANDALA], which is utterly breathtaking in it's detail and realism. An entire mortal lifespan is but a day to an immortal, so I placed Lachesis in the bright light of day. This stunning skin by -Glam Affair - is also available Exclusively at COLLABOR88, and I selected a natural unadorned fresh face since it will take make-up layers well. Hair Fair - Daisies and Diamonds

One of my favorite things about Hair Fair, is the discovery of really lovey wigs, and lovely hair bases to go with them. Because they can be worn separately, you can really customize your looks by wearing a hair base from one creator and a wig from another. It allows for endless personalization, which, lets face it, is hard to accomplish in Second Life when so many avatars wear very popular skins and mesh heads. This lovely weighted curl Diamond style from ISON is new and available Exclusively right now at Hair Fair 2014. The delicate baby haired hair base is from ICONIC, and just worked so well with this style, I opted to keep it on. It is also available at the Hair Fair 2014, with a style called The Icon, blogged HERE. I was feeling very girly, so pulled together a great look to wear with my new Floral Skirt 2 by [MotiAme], available at the new round of The KUSTOM 9. So from Diamonds to Daisies, my personal style will always come out on top!

Hair Fair - Olli Always Love You

What can I say, I am a girl who loves some bangs. Long and eyelash grazing, straight  or whispy, curled or fringed, if it's got bangs, I am usually sunk. So it is fairly obvious that the moment my bang covered eyes saw this Hair Fair 2014 release from Fashionably Dead, loveably named Olli, I was all up in this wig! I love the Ombre effect in this style, it is particularly nice. I think I can say with certainty that you will find a texture you can love just as much from among the variety of options. You can only get it at the Hair Fair for now, so get there any way you can! Oh Olli, you had me at hello!

It's apparently Spring in Toronto, but you wouldn't know it looking outside. It snowed today, and my dreams of Ice Cream in the Beaches is pushed further along my calendar, but that's what makes my SL so wonderful. I decided to dress for my dream of sunshine and sweetness and head to Auntie Mae's (Antonia Marat's) Artilleri Mainstore SIM to check out the waves and the sunshine. Just A Cosmic Girl

I've been dying to find a way to wear this awesome Metallic Crop Top from (fd) since I picked it up at my very first COLLABOR88 event this past month, it is utterly awesome, and I snagged it in this shimmery blue gray as well as the silver version. Look at that back cut out, sexy as all get-out. Discovering new events has been brilliant for introducing me to new designers and reminding me of all my old and still active favorites too.

Speaking of events, this adorable new Portolla Chair from The Loft, a long time favorite, was another event find at the just opened  FaMESHed  event. Another great place to find fabulous original content. This chair has some lovely animations in it, and lots of body options based on the sitter, which is a fabulous new to me feature.  It comes in almost a dozen texture options, I literally sat at the event for about 20 minutes before I settled on this Teal Print version.

I have been gobbling up the Fashion Feeds, and as a certifiable Hair Ho, I just had to have this Ruby wig from ^;^CaTwA^;^ the minute I saw it. I am suddenly addicted to bright coloured and ombre textured hair, can't get enough. This wig comes with more options than you can imagine in one color pack, with two different HUDs to choose from. 

 I couldn't resist these Legal Insanity Penny Jeans, with one leg done in a zebra print, so original and an amazing mesh fit for me.  They paired perfectly with my first big ticket purchase since my return, these breathtaking Maitreya Gold Sauve platforms. I piled on the MG accessories, adore these San Remo chunky bangles. Then I went inventory diving for all my old favorite piercings, all unfortunately long gone from SL, but never forgotten. When everything comes together, it's like the planets align -- so just call me Cosmic Girl for today.
