It's a New Dawn, It's a New Day

There is a knitting state known as "SABLE," or "Stash Achieved Beyond Life Expectancy." It means you have accumulated more yarn than you can possibly knit in your lifetime. My SL inventory has now achieved SABLE and I need to take action.

For the rest of July, I am going to focus on those things in my virtual closet that have never even seen the light of day. I am also going to try to *gulp* purge at least 5,000 items from my inventory.

New Day Full

This means I'm going to try not to shop for the rest of this month. (I can hear some of you laughing already.) Designers, it's not that I don't love you. In fact, it's that I love you a little too much. I wouldn't worry. I predict that in one week, I will crack and start running across the grid, spending Lindens like a fool and laughing like a maniac.

It's Not Good Bye, It's Just Au Revoir
"I'm not even looking in the windows."

This doesn't mean there won't be anything new here. It's very possible that I did a wee, teeny, tiny bit of shopping right before I took these pictures. It just means that I want to rediscover some lost gems I already have.

New Day

I totally understand the inventory issue, I am constantly struggling with mine! Right now I have a rule: three items must go out for every one I bring in.

Some great hints and tips on here, take a look! http://sl4nowt.wordpress.com/inventory-management-101/

Getting rid of excess LMs and notecards reduced my inventory by about 3,200 items... EEK!

I love the one in/ three out rule. What a great idea! And thank you for sharing the link. Any tips are helpful at this point.
