I swore it would be the last time. The absolute last time. I swore I had learned my lesson and would now walk the straight and narrow.



But then here I was again in this place reeking of day-old beer and despair. And then the door opened and he walked in, his biker jacket still covered with dust from the road.



And then it started again. Fun at first. Then the cigarette and booze filled arguments at 3 a.m. Confusing heat for love. Slowly destroying each other. And then the final blow out.



And so here I am again. Swearing it was the last time.



Maybe it's time for a change.
